Actually I am quite impress for most of the folks here that have waited for their love car for so long. I am the kind that having problem waiting long period as will suffers sleepless nights thinking of the things I bought.

My wife also cannot tahan that I Watch Forte, Eat Forte, Sleep Forte ever since I booked Forte. She asked me last night if the Forte 2.0SX has already started delivery.. when I told her not yet, she was very glads that I have switched or she will be getting crazy with my stress built around waiting for the car.

yes my parents too... and you know what I tell them? I will not say before cny... just tell them I don't know... don't ever ask me again... when u see the car then you will know the answer...

My parents asked me what is your 2nd choice if not managed to get this one (touch wood...)..

Even myself started to think I am cari pasal here in Forte forum ... I also got a lot of questions lately from my Parents, my friends, my colleague.

"I thought you are buying the KIA's Forte ?"... when they saw me driving another car... I just told them .. "Its a long story".. and when someone hinted me, they are ready to hear the long story... then there goes the story telling again and again and again... and at the end, they say.

"See, I already told you not to buy a KIA and you never listen to me"

hahahahahaha yeahhh...... i believe if i tell those ppl, they will answer the same thing, the thing is not the car itself but the management or other dept.......

I've started jotting down the numbers on the odometer in order to calculate the FC manually. Hopefully by mid-next week we'll be able to know the answer. The trip computer, however unreliable it is, is showing around 7.4 - 7.8L/100km for now. I drive on highways at 100km/h every day; city driving is only during the weekends. The lowest FC shown on the computer is 6.9 but I don't trust it to be so low.

The "distance to empty" calculation by the computer always shows around 540-550km when I pump Cera to full tank, which if it's reliable refers to approx 9L/100km. I think that's a reasonable but again not necessarily the most accurate estimate for a 2.0. Way off the 7.9 claimed by Kia but no car ever achieves the manufacturer's numbers.

The Cruze is selling better here in Australia, judging from the number of Cruzes seen on the roads. I've never driven a Cruze as it was never in my shopping list to begin with. Most reviews claim that the Cruze has a better interior, but condemn the weak engine and relatively high FC. How true this is, you'll never know until you try it out.

Unfortunately you have to explain to them it's Naza who is screwing things up that made you change your mind, not because Kia made a bad car.
