Let's do something abt it after CNY. I am not sure now any cars available out there b4 CNY that you can grab.

Just hope for the best and prepare for the worst?

Anyway i still think it's worth the wait since it's a good car.

Only 1 thing keep bothering me. Say if KM decided to increase the price for 2.0 Forte, can we cancel the order and get our RM1k back since it is because of they increasing the price and not that i don't want the car with no reason?

I have to repeat myself for the new members sake of reading.

- I already took back my RM2k ( well actually RM1985.50 as cannot refund what been charged for RM500 on CC by bank ) after cancellation of the Forte. Meant, yes, you can get back your Deposit even it stated there not refundable

- Bankers told me even if Loan agreement is signed, it does not meant the loan has already effective. The loan only take effect when the car dealer request for the money from Bank before they going to register the car.

Hopes these info could help out some poor souls out there. ( but to someone, this may look like I am advising people to cancel their Forte pulak )

I saw the 2" x 3" (roughly) NAZA's CKD Metal Emblem on the B Pillar near the driver seat. Pretty neat. CKD rules ( ha ha.. have say that since I am driving a CKD now... but don't have the Metal Emblem like what I saw on the Forte... Envy

May Be True also.....even if u resist to believe it , u have to face the fact that no concrete evident show that 2.0 already on our soil.
Tell me who got any 2.0 picture being taken ? Any spyshot? except the one at Pavilion during launch.
Too many rumours down here already...already in Gurun lah, stockyard la, Port Klang la...haha
Unless someone post a 2.0 picture here.

Now I remember my SA told me 2.0 start loading fr Korea 28thJan...I just ignored it.

i went to sg petani yesterday n i saw a lot of forte there, at KIA shop store..
dunno why they havnt distribute to u all..

SA keep push ppl to pay them money, then car cannot come out.

I called the Careline about 10 minutes ago and spoke to someone in charge of 2.0 and he says can't get before New Year.

I walked to the Branch and spoke to Branch Manager and downgrade to 1.6 liao. He told me he will try to allocate one to me but I guess this is sales man talk. Bye bye 2.0 or bye bye kia if no update in 1-2 days time. Branch Manager says will know 1-2 days.

It is hard to differentiate between Forte 1.6 & 2.0 externally..no different whatsoever (externally). Have to look at the car's interior then we will know whether it is 1.6 or 2.0. so, one had to be close enough to the car in order to take the interior picture of the car. If the 2.0 already arrived at port or stockyard, one have to creep inside their stockyard & take the interior pics to prove that it is the 2.0 Forte. I dont think anybody voluntarily dare to do that. if kena tangkap..habislah. Unless we have an insider i.e. stockyard manager (if any) or guard that perhaps willing to do that for us. Else..we have nothing to prove about the existence of 2.0 Fortes here in Malaysia

I have used K&N on my previous Iswara, current City.. no regrets getting them while the only regrets I have is i didn't get them on day one I got the car.. but this time. Naza said warranty void if changed to K&N on my current car.

how big is the improvement on the fuel consumption eh?
