hai bro
for belting u can look for mitsuboshi brand or bando brand
*
yes, those 2 are the ones normally you can find at spare parts shop. Just that i remember someone (maybe bro Vanquish i think) mentioned before that better to use the japan made bel coz this M'sia made belt sometimes makes sounds if your pomen didn't tight it nicely.

Guys,
need your help to clarify this problem.

Just pourd the Liqui Moly 10w40 to my Sentra B14 (1996).
Before, i use Shell Helix H5 15w40 (mineral).

Pros:
- Reduce engine vibration
- Reduce engine sounds
- Good timing when idling.

Cons:
- i loss the pickup than before.
- have to push the the throttle harder to maintain 80km/h
- when cruising >120km and release the throttle, the speed will significantly reduce. (feel like u push the brake a bit).

Whats the cause?
Vicosity than previous engine oil?

Shell Helix H5 15w-40
Vicosity 40c = 105.4
Vicosity 100c = 13.9
VI = 132
Flash point = 220
Pour point = -30

Liqui Moly 10w-40
Vicosity 40c = 98
Vicosity 100c = 14.4
VI = 152
Flash point = 220
Pour point = -34

Thanks.

whats the difference between timing chain with belt?

My B14 1997 is timing belt..

Hey anyone around KL can recommend a good workshop? My car seriously need someone to look at...
Ever since 1 year ago after going thru flood, nowadays the aircond belt (or ball bearing) keep making noise if raining season...
And the RPM always drops to 500 instead of supposedly around 900-1000 when idle

what i know, timing chains are :
- wear and tear
- low maintenance
- noisy
- low pickup because timing chains are heavy

No bro.
That is Shell Helix H5.

Shell Helix H5 15w-40 = mineral  This is what I’m using now.
Liqui Moly 15w-40 = mineral
Liqui Moly MOS2 10w-40 = semi syn

I just want to know either Liqui Moly MOS2 10w-40 save for my engine or not.
That is why I provide you Liqui Moly 15w-40 and Liqui Moly MOS2 10w-40 for you to compare.

Bro,
Can you please let me know what IK number suitable for Sentra B14?

TQ.
*
bro if not mistaken for b14 is IK20
for n16 IK16
but again still check with ppl

Hi All,

I just found out this great thread :-)

I'm driving a 2004 Sentra N16 1.6SGL. Currently my mileage already reached 200k km. So, I'm thinking to do a complete check on my car to see is there anything needs to be replaced. Should I just send to normal workshop to ask for complete checkout? Or just send to TC service center? How much it'll cost?

I don't really face any major issue right now but just thinking to gather what kind of things I'm going need to replace after the complete checkout.

My 1st thing to do is to replace all my absorbers, lower arms, bearing, tierod.....bla bla which related to the wheels.

Any sifus out there, kindly provide some opinion :-)
