Did you change together with the belting. Sometimes because the belting is already too old so it's hardened abeit and not fits well with new LCP.

QUOTE(amd_hardcore @ Mar 6 2010, 01:13 AM) just change to mines adjustable this morning and after class straight away go back to ipoh... damn like riding a horse.. heheh but cornering is superb... btw , is it okay to buy wei yip or any 4-2-1 extractor (price range rm 170 below)? I'm using wei yip so far no problems. But make sure you did some grinding/welding to make the pipe and the faceplate seamless and same size. |

QUOTE(amd_hardcore @ Mar 6 2010, 02:05 PM) grinding at face plate? the plate where u put the exhaust gasket ar? hmm will give it a try... so if i just change exhaust manifold and remove catcon , change it with twister bullet.. is it sufficient enough? Yup, the plate at the gasket.Change the manifold and put twister bullet. Maybe you want to change the piping to the bullet to 1.8-2.0cm then you could feel some power.. |

QUOTE(yngwie @ Mar 9 2010, 07:42 PM) mine was 4g18p auto with modded gear ratio(changed cog). you need a guts to reach 200km/h. stock suspension(not lowered) is too unstable. So now what's ur RPM reading when at 200km/h?heheno idea about gsc twintop. the one in my neo now is a 1.8gsr na with mivec top. half cut gsrt with 60k mileage usually cost around that figure but tweaking the engine to obtain a desired performance and reliability is the most expensive chapter in engine modification |

Looks like 4G18 owners can get better top spped now
yngwie i think the effect is still minimal rather than the transplant/BOT, since it's N/A and ECU is still original. Jsut the matter need to adjust fuel pressure so that the head will not be hot. |

QUOTE(Chester @ Mar 13 2010, 10:05 PM) hi guys, my power window driver side finally KO already I spend about RM 250 with installation, but the parts buy by myself at part shop. Plastic type.how much do i need to fix it? mine 2005 ev.. Added on March 14, 2010, 12:03 pm QUOTE(yngwie @ Mar 13 2010, 08:37 PM) dohc upgrade is having a minimal impact on 4g18 due to the engine nature itself; limited powerband to play around. NA mod usually cheaper to maintain and more reliable in the long run. E-manage blue is not expensive as before..even the price now is par to AFC Neo now..btw, with proper piggyback programming, dohc is quite viable option by being cheaper. then again, haltech and e-manage blue is quite costly. with BOT at 0.5 bar, i doubt a port and polished with turbo manifold 4g18 can take higher than 0.7 bar, anyway, the engine lifespan itself gonna be shorter This post has been edited by b48753: Mar 14 2010, 12:03 PM |
