The 'root' thing already being discussed in previous posts. So, make your self a little bit 'rajin' to explore this thread and other Android threads. Use the 'search' function wisely. Added on February 4, 2010, 12:27 pmActually, I am also very tempted to 'root' my N1, especially if I want to change the KERNEL, with my own latest compiled kernel. But, I hold it for a while because, without root, I still find the N1 is very usable, and still manu things to be explored. Yeah, it is up to you all to choose your own path/destiny . But, now I love my N1 as it is. This post has been edited by bahathir: Feb 4 2010, 12:27 PM

guys, i solved my MMS issue for Digi. just follow the following: ( you need 2 separate APNS, but after you save digimms as APN TYPE: mms, it will make it like run in the background - the selection button at APN selection will dissapear, but you can still see digimms) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx DIGI Data - Internet xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx APN: diginet MCC: 502 MNC: 16 APN Type: default The rest of the field is blank. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ========= DIGI MMS ========= APN: digimms username: mms password: mms Proxy: 203.092.128.160 Port: 80 MMSC: http://mms.digi.com.my/servlets/mmsMMS Proxy: 203.092.128.160 MMS Port: 80 MCC: 502 MNC: 16 APN Type: mms ========= For some reason, using these 2 settings, i can send MMS and go online now. Maybe it was my digi connection that's not strong enough recently... it still takes a long time for the recipient to receive the mms sometimes.

Celcom3G vs Digi 3G : If you travel to many places in Malaysia, the Celcom3G is only answer . With N1, I got up to 2Mbps DL speed, location near Mid Valley. I don;t know how fast the Digi 3G can provide.

On one hand ppl are complaining about celcom cause of congestions and amount of users. On the other hand Digi has a smaller 3G coverage. So yea its kind of hard to decide what to go for.
