there's an app called Shootme, which allows you to take screenshots of your phone by shaking your phone or by shouting at it lol.

it requires root tho.

i've taken some pics, but my connection is really slow now. shall upload later.

hi are you using DiGi? coz i find that DiGi's coverage has gone down the hill for the past year. I used to have ONLY DiGi signals in my house, but now seems ONLY DiGi is not available in some parts of my house. This is on normal 2G connection.

Whereas the 3G, although i;m in PJ area, the connection aint that good too..

Added on March 1, 2010, 3:18 pmoh yea you guys gotta try this app - Hoccer
http://www.hoccer.com/

its one cool app. tried it out with my friend's iphone and it works.
some comment said they can even catch data from a mile away.

QUOTE
Are you tired of typing contact details into your mobile phone although the person is standing right in front of you? You need to exchange data with a large number of people at the same time? You want to share a presentation with your audience right now? If the pain involved with these scenarios is familiar to you, then Hoccer is the answer.

Hoccer allows you to share your data using intuitive gestures without the need for cumbersome on-screen keyboards.

i have one issue..
for alarm clock to work do we have to set to "dock" mode?
i don't think my alarm triggered this morning..then i do a test but this time set the phone to dock mode.
after that it's triggered the alarm
*
No it doesn't need to be in dock mode. Are you using any task killer? It might be the cause, could be it killed the clock's service or something. I experienced it too last time when I killed everything LOL. Maybe you can try adding clock to your ignore list in the task killer.

Added on March 1, 2010, 5:26 pmAnybody doing a userbar for nexus one? I'm doing one tonight if I have the time.

Ha, Ha, this morning I facing the looping issue, then the superboot is crash, need to redo the superboot part, is that necessary to Wipe (factory reset) after doing rooting?
*
well, i'm not 100% sure, but when i faced bootloop, i saw a comment to do wipe. i just wipe it, and reboot, and voila! its working.

i'm using CM 5.0.3 currently (which is fine), not changing to .4 until the issues are fixed tongue.gif

I'm not actually a guru here, but i'll try my best to help. tongue.gif

Yes install amon RA recovery image first.

benefit/updates of using CM 5.0.3 you can see in the changelog in the same link you posted.

Google Addon, you do it just like how you did with the CM, copy to the root directory of your SDCard.

Radio, i didnt install it, my wifis are working fine without it.

Nandroid, i dont think i did it too, was too confused and desperate when i did mine tongue.gif but its better you do it.
(http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php/Nandroid_backup - if you need to use the ALT + L step, I tried on mine, you should press and hold POWER button then press UP VOLUME key, we dont have hardware keyboard D: )

back to stock ROM? yes if i'm not mistaken, there's a stock ROM uploaded by one dude somewhere in the xda forum.

------------------------
------------------------
PS: gurus, when i boot into recovery mode, i dont see "Create Nandroid backup" option, i only see the following. (do you guys get this?)

Android system recovery <2e>

Use trackball to highlight; click to select.

reboot system now
apply sdcard:xxxxx.zip
wipe date/factory reset
wipe cache partition

Already done the amon RA, I notice got Nand backup and Nand + ext backup.

I only do the Nand backup, is this enough to restore back later? Do I need to do the + ext one?

Added on March 2, 2010, 11:26 amShall I do the CM 5.0.3 or CM 5.0.4.1?
*
quoted from xda forums - AmonRa
"Please make sure that your ROM supports apps2sd if you plan to use the ext-features! (/system/sd MUST be available in the ROM)"

i guess its to store your backup to the SDCARD?

Nand backup is enough.

as for .3 or .4 its up to you.

.3 is more stable imo.
.4 has more updates and more features, but it has some issues. (checkout the post by shahz some post back)
