Download the latest Mac Desktop Manager to your Mac it can be update OS just like normal Windows PC/Notebook..

currently upgrading mt bold 9000 OS to the latest version. thanx to the guide posted at FP

last time before i upgrade my fw, i have deleted the vendor.xml files. just now, i check the c:\common files\research in motion\Apploader folder, there is an xml file also but now the name is device.xml is it the same as vendor.xml? i cannot recall whether this file was previously was there or not last time

No is different, once you delete it then it will gone forever.. If you dont delete that earlier you can update leaked OS to your phone..

em should i guess when we reinstall it, it can be default DM like we never delete the vendor.xml file? should it be like that?

After delete you can install any OS..

so better that way.. delete that.. so you can install any version of OS right.. any latest update about future update on bb os?
