last time before i upgrade my fw, i have deleted the vendor.xml files. just now, i check the c:\common files\research in motion\Apploader folder, there is an xml file also but now the name is device.xml is it the same as vendor.xml? i cannot recall whether this file was previously was there or not last time

i dont think reformatting the device again and again may bricked it someday. u just clear the data and replace it with a new one. anyway this is just my opinion smile.gif

i tried to connect my bb with bbsak, but cannot. it show no device are connected. how to solve this problem? using latest bbsak already

already solved the problem. since im using Windows 7 pc, need to change the bbsak compatibility to Windows Vista Service Pack 2
