Don't think with Sense running, the bubble will appear. But I'd love to have this feature running side-by-side with Sense flawlessly.

The registry settings are at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\
“SMSDeliveryNotify” = 1

has anyone captured a pic like this with their phone? what went wrong i wonder, you can actually see strips on the picture
Are all the pix like that? Or just this particular pic? Try to set the "Flicker Adjustment" to 50 Hz or 60Hz.

although the specs are better, the price may not be cheap. HD2 needs the bigger
1GB ROM because the HTC Album eats a lot of space. this is the major flaw for our unit. nevertheless, we can divert the album cache to SD card.

If you guys buy from PDA Expert, Fresh Gear, etc. ask them to do it for you since you have paid for the service.

If you wanna take risk to do it yourself, below is my guide (at your own risk! ... especially Vista & Windows 7):
Before Start : Backup all your contacts, tasks, appointments, GPS POIs, etc.
1. Download and run Hard SPL : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611433. Congratulations! Your warranty is "officially" void! (unless you know how to return back to original SPL)
2. Download the Radio "Leo_RADIO_15.31.50.07U_2.07.51.05 **(from HTC **1.66)" : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611787
3. Extract item 2 above and rename it to ""RUU_Signed.nbh""
4. Download the CustomRUU : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...017&postcount=1
5. Put item 3 (RUU_Signed.nbh) and item 4 (CustomRUU.exe) above in the same folder in your computer/lappy.
6. ActiveSync PC with HD2.
7. Run the "CustomRUU.exe" file in folder step 5 above.
8. Reboot your HD2 (this is the heart-attack moment. If your HD2 bricked, you may need to take a knife and stab it to your heart...LOL)
9. Check the radio version. If new, congratulations, you have successfully executed the Hard SPL and flashing the ROM without any help from anyone! Next time, you can open shop for servicing handphones...LOL

HTC Sense is still at infant stage. Need a lot of tweaks and "reprogramming". HTC techy should work extra hours to overcome all HTC Sense issues.

Haha dgtel2 can share with us what have you buy for your hd2? tongue.gif
Nowadays just can see online, local seller hard to see...

I bought resin cases (different colours), OEM battery and car charger. All from eBay from different resellers. You just need to sort which gives the best price include shipping to your doorstep. It's much more convenient as no travelling is required at all. So far, all the goodies are doing well with my beybeh...

I don't need car holder. Just lay my beybeh on the odeometer screen. With the help of the resin case, it won't slip off even when making sharp U-turn.

Me too...resin case that fits perfectly from http://www.netimes.com/shop/resin-soft-jel...ml?cPath=80_731

It costs around +/- rm12 and very satisfied with the quality...I've been using it for 5 weeks now and so far, great protection!
Yup. Bought from the same reseller. I have all colours except black.

dgtel2, you bought all resin case color available? I tried laying on my odometer before, but since I'm not using resin case, it slips if I corner too hard. I'm not planning to use resin, so I definitely need the car holder.
I got all colours except black. I don't need black as it looks the same without the case. I'm hunting for apple-green, orange, yellow resin cases. Don't think anyone manufactures that yet. I'm seraching for 7 colours to change the "shirt" every other days. So far I have 4 (blue, pink, purple, milk). If you put ur HD2 without resin, of course it'll slip. The resin gives good bond to the odometer glass/plastic panel. You can even charge the unit in landscape mode.

I'm not comfortable with car holder as it "invites" junkies to break your car (even though you don't have anything valuable in ur car).

It's time to buy HD2 and Touch Pro 2.... at Singapore... Malaysia's price can never compete with our neighbour. Why must buy here....? Warranty? Freebies...? Services...?

you can try format it. but due to excessive heat of 1GHz processor, some SD card will suffer damage in extreme heat.

probally not as swiff as HTC ones but here look up "Capacitive Black Stylus Pen For HTC HD2 HD 2 Leo"  on ebay
*
I just don't understand why all capacitive stylus must be blunt at the tip. why can't it be sharp like ordinary resistive stylus.

Don't think the old resistive stylus is adaptable to capacitive. It must be made of special material(s). It just needs to be fine tune to be as sharp as possible. Contact-surface area could be the issue in capacitive stytlus.

changing the SD card wouldnt help! :-(

Oouucchh... software conflicts then. If you're using custom ROM, that could be the possible answer. I'm using the latest ASIAN WWE stock ROM. No Garmin issue so far.

What about your battery. Are they fully charged when the problem occurs...? But I'm pretty sure you had used car charger while navigating...
