do u guys use microsoft outlook sync with your phone? there are few problems im having
1) it does not receive mails unless i plug in my pc n sync it with my pc, hence, it does not receive mails as soon it comes in
2) those mails that are placed in subfolders in my outlook are not downloaded in the phone

I supposed you must be very new to WM. Just use File explorer /My Device : scroll down right to bottom - the PIM.vol file is there ( already mentioned in my last post)

BTW reading your replies would like to know what rom are you on : Settings/System/Device Info/Software version - what is the OS, Manila, Rom version. With this info then can advise you further what you can do

guys .. in 1.66 rom the does the 'Lock to GSM' mode works on your set ? Doesnt seem to work on mine , i can still see 3G MY MAXIS on the operator previously in 1.48 with Lock to GSM enabled am always on MY MAXIS only.

THe radio rom version in 1.66 rom still weak in my area .. (Shah Alam) . Out fr there then is fine. Wonder if i flashed to anther radio rom would help?

Try this cab. Touch X add 3G commmanager.cab -adds 3g on/off to your commmanager. It don't replace anything, just adds it. You can turn off 3G.

Just rename the file from Touch X add 3G commmanager.txt to Touch X add 3G commmanager.cab

yeah already installed that ... When i turn it off , it still goes to 3G My Maxis .....

For Maxis G=GPRS , E=Edge and H=3G/HSDPA. Is there a 3G symbol for Maxis? I am using third party icons, so can't tell.

Hello...i need some help ... My HD 2 seem currently occur some error after i'm flashing to a new ROM 1.66...
Btw after i flashed it....i use sprite backup to recover some of my application and also for da settings..
The problem is.... after i recover it, my home screen seems currently dont have quick link for phone and also my quickstart link or icon in home screen currently lost and not appear in my screen...its also give me lot of problem more when my add or remove program in my hd 2 also dont list the application...its gone when i recover the backup...

Anyone know how to solve this problem.... ?Do i need to hard reset or just flash back then install again?

Which level did you restore from Sprite Backup?. It should be Level 1. I have also encountered not being able to fully restore using Sprite Backup. Sometimes it works sometime not. I also use SPB Backup at the sametime. Sometime SPB works sometime not. Usually one of them works. There are no specific pattern which will work.

Since it is not working for you, there is no harm hard resetting again and try to restore. No need to flash again.

It is normal not to find the list of installed programs after you restored from Sprite Backup, SKTools however will still show the list of previously installed programs.

Most of the time is E but what i meant is ref to attached screen capture (highlight in RED). I still see '3G MY MAXIS' instead 'MY MAXIS'

Ok ..i'm already hard reset...and its finally back to normal one....Just one more question...before i hard reset earlier...i backup my htc using spb with the corrupt one...so the question is...If i restore that backup....is it the corrupt settings will back 2?

I believe the top icon ( G,E,3G,H) is the actual indicator of the type of service you are getting from the Telco.
