QUOTE(mckevin @ Apr 13 2010, 08:25 AM) good morning peeps..aha.. i almost went to the bed with it.. but i opt for my wife in the end.. btw.. my friend installed some software for me.. i wanna remove it and its not in the setting's remove program there.. can anyone enlighten me pls.. thanks.. Your friend might have used a Backup Program like SpriteBackup to restore instead of actually installing the programs. If that is the case the programs will not show in the Settings Remove Program. However these programs will show up in SKTools and you could delete from there.Added on April 13, 2010, 9:15 am QUOTE(kaylong @ Apr 13 2010, 04:02 AM) Guys need help a lil bit, Try installing the program again, soft reset and then uninstall and soft reset. QUOTE(RoxyMunky @ Apr 14 2010, 04:41 PM) this is what im trying to tell~ You can move the files or folders at Windows> Start Menu>Programs but cannot move any from Windows>Program Filesbut yesterday i tried to move a game from this Menu into Game folder... and it clashed!! can't run the game anymore. ended up re-install the game~ You need to remove Quick Link and reinstall once you have moved the file at Start Menu. |

QUOTE(dry75 @ Apr 14 2010, 11:14 PM) Thanks. Will it also upgrade the Manila version or do i need to upgrade seprately ? The Manila version is embedded in the ROM. You cannot just install the Manila, it has to be installed thru the ROMIf now, how to go about ? QUOTE(davidmak @ Apr 16 2010, 08:24 AM) Like the others have said, you have to install the support files from Garmin which includes a wide range of language files. Most likely you installed the core version of the application. You can get this support file from Garmin website. I have used and can confirm 2.08.50.08_2 Radio works well with 1.66 and 1.72 base cooked ROMYes. HD2 for T-Mobiles are 576MB RAM enabled so their Radio and ROM are different from the rest. T-Mobile HD2s uses .50 series of Radio ROM and HTC 2.10 based ROM. The rest of the world is still on HTC 1.72 based ROM and uses .51 series of Radio ROM. Take note that .50 radio ROM will only work with 2.10 based ROM. They work in pairs, don't mix and match. If you would like to enabled the hidden RAM on your HD2 (all HD2's total RAM is 448MB while T-Mobile HD2 is 576MB), then you will need a .50 series Radio ROM and a HTC 2.10 based ROM. But what kept people from moving into this territory is because T-Mobile radio ROMs are plagued with call quality issues and its even worse if you're not on T-Mobile network. Recently, this was resolved with a patch. Dutty's HG-series v1.9 custom ROM has included this patch and I have been using it on Maxis network. No problem. Call quality issues have been resolved. And my free RAM is on average more than 250MB If you're on a stock ROM, say .51 series radio ROM and a HTC 1.72 based ROM. You should try the 2.09 radio ROM. Very good. Dutty latest v2.7 WWE ROM is 1.72 base with 2.09.50.08_2 Radio This post has been edited by DrWho: Apr 16 2010, 09:48 AM |

QUOTE(davidmak @ Apr 16 2010, 10:04 AM) Radio 2.08.50.08_2 does not enable 576MB RAMI have tried 576MB RAM before and it did not improve the processing speed for me and have since reverted back to 448MB. I suppose the HD2 RAM is big enough to perform most of the task efficiently except maybe gaming, which I don't do. |

QUOTE(mckevin @ Apr 16 2010, 01:55 PM) after flashing when i restart my phone.. the htc quietly brilliant screen turns black..only got sound.. how to get the screen back yo Don't panic. If you have installed HSPL correctly, it is very very difficult to brick the phone Try flashing back to a shipped ROM or a working cooked ROM first. 1. Remove battery 2. Put back battery 3. Press and hold Vol Down key 4. Press and release Power Key while still holding down the Vol Down Key 5. Bootloader will appear and flash |
