Guys,

One thing here.I wanted to update to v40 but the updater says insufficient disc space.My memory card is darn empty so i guess its the phone memory.But i can't find anything to delete..

how can i update the maps if later nokia decided to update their maps software?

the a-gps signal can flow through the WAP setting as well (if u sellected it)
some option can be use to no be accidently charge by service provider:

1. Disable the positioning method (disable A-GPS and Network Base)
2. Delete all the service provider internet setting
3. Under Internet setting, change the "Password Prompt" to "Yes"

the maps that will be use still is the same v1.23.112 (mean same detail as the previous version)

below the new features spotted within this new version:

1. New Navigation option on the Walking Voice Guide (will spell the street name)
2. Michelin makan makan guide changed to HungryGoWhere
3. New in navigation setting button and new compass pointer
4. New in navigation maps view setting
5. New Location Sharing through Facebook widget
6. New Nokia Account setting which replace the syn function (for the favorites)

Hi ...i cant install the ovi maps .....it's shows my firmware not compatible ...nid to be update ....my firmware version v30.0.011 ...when i check for updates using phone ....it show no update available .... im try to use nokia software updater.....but it say my OS not supported ...using win 7 ...
any solution ??? long time dint update my phone adi.....

Iianm, change your NSU compatibility to XP or Vista. That should work.

All the maps and voice files still same as previous version with an EXTRA English (UK) with Street Name which only can be download through the Ovi Maps apps itself (not from Map Loader).

all maps and voices files need to be loaded using the Nokia Maps Loader and it's FREE

If you are not able to install Nokia Software Updater on Win 7.. So this steps

1. Download Nokia Software Updater
2. Right click on that Setup File & then Click on Properties
3. Click on Compatibility
4. Have a Check Mark on "Run This program in Compatibitlity mode for:" and then Select "Windows XP (Service pack 3)
5. And also have a Check Mark on Run This program as an adminstrator.
6. Then Click Apply or Ok.
7. Then Install.

I tried to download the latest firmware through Nokia Software Udater.Then it says insufficient disc space

P/S: I have already emptied my phone memory which is now 32MB free
