Aiyah. D-style Deathy dah banyak at Berjaya area. At least they were, a week ago. Post pics once you've "bloodified" the little bugger, yeah? Once D-style Ultra comes out, I'm gonna need help with panel-lining/ink-washing those tiny, tiny grooves. Any tips, people? Is there any way to practice the techniques on a piece of plastic or something like it? |

Hey there, Francis. Are you looking to get the Holotech BioMegaRaptor? I'm afraid Kuala Lumpur/Selangor's practically run out of TOMY Zoids in the bricks-and-mortar shops. Kotobukiya's HMM and D-Styles are plentiful though. Best bet is the Online option, if you don't mind paying for postage and such. You looking to complete the Genesis line, are you? |

I'm still trying to tidy up the painting on my D-style Bladey. The Gundam markers don't seem to work so well. Yeah - Bladey needs a friend. Prozen's Deathy should really be there with it. You guys think the Van figure needs some flesh colouring on it or can I just leave it as is? |

Hope everyone is having fun building/hunting Zoids. I, unfortunately, am still looking for missing parts. Can anyone help with these? Spiderzoid / Gurantula. TDP/OER/OJR should be all the same, I think. > Tail Spinneret > Two Legs (Left / Right - doesn't matter, does it?) > Small black Caps. I last counted twelve but prove me wrong by sending some my way. NJR Saber Tiger > Most of its Head (Teeth, Canopy, Windshield, Top Jaw, Bottom Jaw). > The two parts that makes up its stubby tail. Red Scavenger > 4 Large Caps > Both antennae > 2 Shell holder clips NJR/TDP/Fuzors Gojulas Giga > The screw + axle from inside the motor as per picture linked below: Zoids parts needed URL: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ridertekran/s...ith/6311314525/ Scarab / OJR Saicurtis > clear, red targeting reticule. Poor thing is shooting blind without it. NJR Gojulas > clear, orange cockpit canopy Tyrannazoid/Garius > Part number 4 i.e. the black tail, NOT the grey tip. Black tail tip broke. Scorpozoid/OJR Guysack > 6 small, blue caps > Part number 14 (Left claw, when seen facing the pilot head) > G-Sprue Weapons Set (Hah, big wish this) |

Do you guys remember the D-style Blade Liger that came with chrome parts?
Well, it looks like you can get it if you can buy stuff from Korean websites. http://gundamart.co.kr/shop/shopdetail.html?brandcode=185002000028 I hope members who can read Korean can help in finding out: 1). Any other specials from Hobby Club Korea for D-style Zoids? 2). How to order stuff from Korean websites? This post has been edited by riderTEKRAN: Nov 10 2011, 01:53 PM |

Haven't been to Berjaya Times Square to check on new Zoids. According to AmiAmi websites, the HMM Godos has been released already. I guess it takes a while to reach our shores. In the meantime, presenting my latest two acquisitions. They're small but hey, I've waited a long time for these. ![]() When building/disassembling little Megs, please beware the tiny, stiff parts on its translucent body. They seem to be easily broken. Luckily mine stayed intact during the build process. ![]() One-blox Shield Liger was a bit of a disappointment to me. It's cute, yes but I thought it will have teeny, tiny Double Cannon Specials too. Ah well, can't win them all with Zoids. More pics at my usual photostream. This post has been edited by riderTEKRAN: Nov 28 2011, 09:57 PM |

hey there, G1 LYN Zoider.
Yeah, it's a pity about the motorised Zoids gone bye, bye in Malaysia. If you're cupboard's not too full yet, I say keep your collection a while more. Unless of course you're more into the building of Zoids, instead of being fascinated with moving parts. In which case, you gotta make room for more HMMs and D-Style Zoids Never ordered Kotobukiya parts before so can't help you with the replacement sprues. Will you be emailing them soon about the parts? Keep us updated, ya? I wonder if Gundam enthusiasts can help here. They can order parts from Bandai too, can't they? |

I note that in the HMM Zoids kit, there seems to be something like an order form for Parts. Perhaps a 3rd-party Japan ordering/bidding service can help with the translation if they were sent a scan of the document? To contact the various Kotobukiya representatives directly, you can try emailing some on this list: http://www.kotous.com/where-to-buy/asia/ Hopefully, they will be able to help further. |

@alanmacho:
Sorry to hear the bad news, dude. Hopefully you'll have better luck with the other distributors. Kotobukiya in Korea could probably help. After all, they commissioned their own D-style Blade Liger. @limfreelance: Hey there and welcome to Zoids! Interested in the Command Wolf, eh? Well, if you're looking to collect ALL the various versions throughout Zoids history, that'll be a lot of display space taken up From your list, I know the Brad LC AC is a High-end Master Model so that will be for build and display only. The "FZ-012" is a spring-wound, motorised Zoids which was released quite a while back already. NOT for posing and not as detailed as the Kotobukiya's. Good play toy, though. Not sure about the Command Wolf White. Do you have pictures that we can reference? Oh, and all of them are listed as 1/72 scale. Maybe someone here can help out by taking a comparison picture of a built Command Wolf with an AA battery or something? I've got no wolfies here. and a great big MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone. Where are my presents? This post has been edited by riderTEKRAN: Dec 10 2011, 10:35 PM |

Hope everyone got a Zoids as a Christmas present. I'm still waiting for Valga to drop down to RM10 at next Jusco Sale. Hah. In the meantime, feel free to translate and share Kotobukiya Zoids news with the rest of us. I tried Google Translate - couldn't understand much so any help is very much appreciated. http://hmmzoids.jugem.jp/ For HMM Zoids fans, you can check out the various models at http://main.kotobukiya.co.jp/hmm_zoids_c/. Enjoy! |

Non-Kotobukiya HMM Zoids? Count me in! That is if HMM Valga ever comes out. Shouldn't be too hard to make, right? I mean, it's just a ball - sort of. Congratulations to everyone who got the special blue canopy, orange D-style copy of Bladey. Zoids core as a kitty ball? Too cute. Can anyone help to extract the information from the following link, please? I'm interested to know about the 2012 New Line Up. Does it say anything about tiny little motors in future Koto Zoids? http://main.kotobukiya.co.jp/special/hmmzoidsmm2012/ And Happy, Merry Chinese New Year holidays to everyone! Who's sponsoring the beer fest? |

@sicnarf1830:
So far, Kotobukiya has only released only the Blue Blade Liger so I'm assuming you're asking about the bootlegs? Our fellows at ZP says they've been showing up in Hong Kong or Taiwan auction sites but since I don't read the alphabet, I can't help there. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I really should get around to building my D-style Bladeys. From visual inspection alone, the bootleg looks quite decent but I have to dig them out to do a proper comparison. Anyone have a decent camera I could use to get super-sharp pictures? Bro Ahtiven, your camera working fine? On the Kotobukiya front, have you guys watched the video of the 2012 event? Here's the link: http://ustre.am/H16G It's running too slow where I am so can anyone help to point out the interesting news, please? This post has been edited by riderTEKRAN: Jan 29 2012, 12:33 AM |

Hello there, dunst2
Were you asking about owners of Megatopros in Malaysia or some other specific country? Not many overseas members visit this forum, I think. I think old Megs showed up in the Version 3 of this Zoids forum. |

Go, Kotobukiya! Congratulations on the purchases, Dreamworks. Out of all the HMM Blade Ligers released thus far, I think the nicest has to be the LE Mirage - pearlescent coloured plastic means minimal painting needed. What's that SONY stand that D-style Liger is perched on? |

Congratulations on the new family members, Sir Ahtiven!
I didn't even know you were pregnant Is big, daddy Ultra coming home too? Any one remembers if they announced a new D-styler at the 2012 Kotobukiya meeting? |

Finally was able to get my paws on something that I've wanted for a long time now.
Close to RM10.00? Yes! not. ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/ridertekran/ More pics added! ![]() ![]() "Can it 'strike a pose'?", I hear you ask. "Does it transform to a Battle mode or something?" Unfortunately, it can't do any of those things so no fancy images with this Zoid. But what it does do, it does with mucho gusto: Valga On A Roll This post has been edited by riderTEKRAN: Mar 10 2012, 09:23 PM |

Total "Yipee!" when I got to build and see Valga in action for myself. I really wish they had continued with the new motor designs for the Rebirth Zoids. Would have loved to see the Frog Zoids concept come to completion. Maybe they will continue it in the very near future? @ahtiven: I won't mind you building yours and then selling it to ME later when you get bored of it When are you going to get around to detailing your D-stylers? Teach me how to ink-wash baby Ultrasaurus, please? @Cole: Valga is one of the Rebirth Century Zoids. Its designated as a Pillbug design. Or as us Klingons would call it - Kiri'U!p It's going to be my "ball" in the Lego Minifigure's Bowling game. On a side note, has anyone put LEDs in their HMMs? Which LED and resistor rating resistor have you used? |

Looks like Momoko and STK are becoming a big hit amongst Zoiders here. At any case, they're probably a cheaper option for parts replacement instead of having to go direct to Kotobukiya. @sicnarf1830: Seems to me that the only one missing from your list is the Mirage Kanon Special or "Pinky". Since both the Mirage's have that Attack Booster attachment, does this mean you've got a bootleg Bladey that comes with SD versions of the CP-12? If so, please do PM me where you got them - cos I want one (or three). On a side note, can anyone point me towards a URL or instructions about how to "decipher" the listings on Mandarake? Even with Google translate, I'm not sure if the description they write is for a built/unbuilt/sealed box/complete/incomplete Zoids. |

Those TOMY Blade Ligers are similar in design that's for sure. The most distinguishing feature would be the colours. Also, some of TOMY's Blade Ligers have plastic teeth and feet and not the metal ones. Example of this would be the ForestNight version. No Attack Bootsters on this one too. One thing's for sure - since D-style Bladey is a single-seater with no Fiona figure, I think she'll probably be packaged with D-style Gustav. (NOTE: Gustav has NOT been announced so don't quote me on this. I'm just speculating). Now for the "Learn Japanese" bit: yakusu kudasai, Ahtiven-sama (開封) 開封 未組立 未開封 袋イタミ How would "second-hand, unassembled" look like? I'm asking because Mandarake usually resells items that other collectors have brought in to their shops. This post has been edited by riderTEKRAN: Mar 13 2012, 11:21 PM |
