now is my turn to write a review after nearly a month of testing Eric's VS in 2 cars.

First off, i install it in my slightly modified Saga BLM AT, with existing VS still attached.

Noticable improvements: quieter engine, which helps uncover a problem - IAFM tak tak tak noise while accelerating. before this, engine sound was quite loud so no rattling noise was noticed. after installing this VS, d rattling noise become so obvious n annoying, which leads me to removing d VS. to my surprise, d rattling noise become softer. Conclusion: i'll send my car to inspect d IAFM before testing again.

After taking out d VS, decided to test it in my fiancee's Savvy MT.

First day - not much noticable improvements, as drive normally like usual.

Second day- decided to do some medium to hard driving n....... voila@!! d car became so much better to drive with so much more low to mid-end torque, esp 1.5k to 4k rpm! had a really pleasant surprise! previously, while driving around < 30kph during slow moving traffic, i hv to shift between 1st n 2nd gear frequently. when d speed falls below 15kph while on 2nd gear,d engine will jerk. now, d little car can pull away using 2nd gear from a low 1k rpm@10kph! it jus makes my life so much easier with so much less shifting to do!! esp during traffic jam!

i also tried 1st gear to 3rd gear at 25kph, n d car just pulls away cleanly! wuahaha. also from 3rd to 5th at 60kph, no problem also! meaning i can bypass 2nd n 4th gear while driving normally! previously cant really do tat as some jerking will occur, but now.......talk abt less work for drivers!

all in all, very very impressed by how this VS helps me while driving my manual Savvy in heavy traffic, not to mention much cooler aircond also!

so bro ERic, congratulations for designing n producing a very good product! just a last but not final question (even after so so so many using PMs), how did d VS makes air-cond cooler? hehe. thanks!

erm.. inconsistent in term of noises... not bass level... the car would be at same spot, means level of reception is the same right, then sometimes clear and sometimes get noises again...

I see, as you told me before installation your Head Unit is making a lot of noise so wanted to try if the grounding could improve it, and now it's much clearer but got some inconsistence noise.

If you don't start the engine, does it make noise ? If it gets noisy during engine running, then the HU is probably having grounding loop internally which receive noise from engine.

So doing the grounding would harness the grounding in your engine bay and so that less noise is going to your HU, but still the problem started from HU, the best way is to find the root cause from the HU. Perhaps visit back the shop where you bought the Head Unit ?

Thanks bro, you did it !! tongue.gif

VS "clean" up the electricity so that it filters out AC kind of current and allow more DC type to be exist in the circuit. DC type of current allows device to operate in optimum state (Gets enough power) and thus stuff like air cond and light will improve.

Sorry for the late reply, installed VS in my vios last 3 weeks

what i observe for past 2 weeks are:-

1)Changing of gear definitely smoother
2)Air-cond cooler
3)FC increased probably by 10% i suppose (how come ar?)
4)Car accelerates better

Overall average product for me, but would be good if my fuel consumption will reduce...

Thanks bro for the feedback, here is some explanations:

From my own experience on my car, after adding the VS, acceleration and torque increased quite a lot, i was happy about this and enjoying the reving up every time i drive (Due to the smoothes and better acceleration, so like to rev more comparing to before installed the VS). From this driving behavior, my FC increased. Well the driving behavior has been changed after installed the VS, where more energy is using to move and accelerate the car coz i press the pedal harder.

Then i decided to change the driving behavior by pressing the pedal lighter where the acceleration up is roughly same as before VS (But now added smoother and lighter pedal pressing) and the result speed also same as before VS, then i get about 50KM extra for town and highway drive mix, and around 80 KM extra for pure highway drive.

The theory here is before VS, the force you press on pedal doesn't result in proper outcome (Engine power) meaning that you press harder the engine will still not going much. However after VS installed, the more you press the more the engine will have power to go then the FC will increase of course or else it doesn't follow the rule of energy.

Pressing pedal lighter will still gaining the same output as before VS, thus in this way your will see lower FC.

Try to drive on pure highway like 1 trip to ipoh or penang.

Thanks Bro for the great products - VS and GC.
After installation, there is a lot of improvement.
1) quiet engine
2) do not need so much effort to reach top speed
3) gear shift is fantastic.
4) no more static.
5) better performance from amplifier as well.
6) my open pod sounds nicer as well, more oomph!.
7) no more power drop when air-con kick in.
8) i can lock/unlock my car doors from 20 feet away now.

Drove to Dengkil and easily reached 185km. previously can only accomplish 170km and my car starts to huff and puff.
Less engine vibration and noise and not sure but i feel the handling of the car is better now.
Short burst of speed has also increased while gear shift at 5k rpm is so smooth without jerks..

I think the VS is highly complimented by good grounding as well. Without it, the result could not be so noticeable to many, but with both your products, it's perfect. I can say bye bye to the idea of getting guang dao VS.
Very good product and value for money. Thank you so much.

I got this installed in my Vios couple of days back from Eric. I had a Pivot Mega Raizin bought from a forum-mer earlier, which I threw in dust bin after seeing the performance of Eric's VS.

I truly recommend this product to all car users and enthusiasists. Those who would love to take care of their car, would love this to be installed too. My best wishes to Eric as a young entrepreneur, designer and inventor.

Hehe, need to make that trip up to Genting and smoke those Kancil's now. hahaha. I just hope they don't have your VS and Gc installed also. Otherwise, I will still get smoked by them. lol!
Thank you for the kind explanations and the good and neat work on my car.

I actually do have 1 question since you are a Transformer (electrician) guy. smile.gif
Would it make any difference to put in a alternator booster at the alternator gc?
Many people recommend it saying it will boost power. But I'm already very happy with what I have now.
Will I see any improvement if I add it?

like what i mentioned b4, air cond is cooler now, pickup is much more better, and my myvi can easily reach 160,

as for fuel consumptions, i felt that incraese by 10%, maybe due to the power increase, i tend to step more, ><
