Have you used it on a NGV car? Heard that too high a uF rating will give some problems to NGV cars.... (heard this from a guy who plays with electrical components since he was young)

hi all,

is my turn to comment.

actually i am still having another 2 VS which are Zaptor Platinum n Pivot (blue) in hand. so in total i have 3 now.

among these 3 VS, i can say this DIY VS gives me the most obvious improvement in my ride.(tried 3 different VS separately in the same car)

Thank you very much, making VS works as what it claimed for is my pride.

Old car has poor alternator, so installing my VS will give you even more significant effect. As long as your car using 12V battery then is it more than suitable to my VS thanks.

I never have any customer with NGV car. But from electrical point of view, it shouldn't have anything diff from a petrol car, because NGV only modify on the fuel inlet to gas.

VS stabilize the voltage passing to your car and is not interfere with NGV gas at all.

Well, I juz received the VS(s) by postage today as per committed, and punctual on time. After the a phone conversation, I managed to DIY install it myself at home.

Well, my engine bay manage to fit 2 VS(s) nicely, I think there's room for another VS, though.

I'm driving a City 2005 VTEC:

Comment:
The voltage drop during compressor kicking is reduced, but not up to my expectation, yet. Maybe I expect too too much?

The headlight dim less during the voltage drop.

The rest are still under observation (air-cond, torque, vibration).

Eric, does other improvements need time as the ECU have to adapt the new changes?

Pls advise on this...

nice installation u did. Ur ecu is adaptive 1 so might need to take some time to adapt the change. Sometimes like vibration u can't feel it coz ur car edi good enuf originally. Or ur car vibration is due to mounting? Then vs can't help coz it's physical prob.

For torque, not all car will see diff, reemeber vs not add more power to ur car like turbo n other do, vs stabilize voltage and improve electrical devices like ecu, ignition system, fuel pump, etc

I'm not sure if it need some time for the ECU to adapt but for my waja , it does feel better after awhile.
Have a look on grounding cable , especially ground the alternator. Pairing it with VS you'll feel much better.

Eric , thanks alot for driving over to petronas there today , handsome and friendly guy i must say. sorry for making your hand dirty , should have brought back and install myself instead. blush.gif
Anyway , i can feel the new vs makes the gear shifting smoother/less noticeable compare to the first one that i bought and the bass seems tighter aswell , well worth the money spent.

YES, grounding cable works hand in hand with VS. VS + Grounding cables gives you very good result, remember ground on alternator is most important.

Don't worry Andy that's not a big deal, what you feel is exactly as what i feel on my own car. Enjoy Driving !!

Hi Eric,
Thanks for sending me SMS(s) on what should I do next. I'll try it when I got the time, maybe tmr.

By the way, juz now whole night driving enjoy turning the a/c temperature to 80% with minimal voltage drop interference. My previous temperature setting was 50% or less at night.

Will update the outcome after try ur suggested method juz now.

U're very detailed & responsible seller!

ET fixed VS to my VW and all round there is an improvement.
Good product for a very small investment.
