I think some maxis centre have to wait or prebook your iphone while some dont have to. I booked my iphone from maxis ttdi and till today haven't got it.. booked it months back.

Then I just drop by a Mac Studio at BSC and got it on the spot - 16GB 3Gs. No queue and got in within minutes. Strangely in Maxis to buy an iPhone without contract is just pay and go but in Mac Studio they asked me to buy a sim card which is an additional RM8.

For maxis post paid users who have not bought an iphone before will get an additional RM200 rebate. Unfortunately I was a iPhone and ivalue plan 2 user - just upgraded to 3Gs - no discount.

I m abit confuse about Maxis vs Digi plan. Maxis Rm99 iData -3gb vs iDigi 138 -3gb data plan. Difference so much?

The Maxis RM99 iData 3 is Data Only plan. No free SMS, MMS nor voice calls.
Whereas, the RM138/month iDiGi 138 includes 450 minutes of free voice calls, 400 free SMSes, 40 free MMSes + no extra charge after 3Gb monthly quota is used. However, you will throttled to EDGE speed after that.

I was on BlackBerry for 8 months plus.. Then one day, after we bought an iPod Touch for our Boy, I've decided its time to change to iPhone hehe.. and thank god for my Husband who are so understanding huhu...

Been looking for an unlock version in Low Yatt Plaza, a day after we accompany my SIL to Maxis KLCC for her iPhone 3Gs 16G - and wait for almost 3 hours to get one... with some lousy CS has tried to my SIL to convert back her (then Maxis) Celcom line to Maxis back again... which at the end we just ignore that CS...

It was so lucky of me to find out that there's serveral shops in Low Yatt Plaza who sell iPhone with Maxis warranty at the same price as Maxis without need to buy the RM8 prepaid card... And the best shop that had offered me is RM2480 for the iPhone only for Maxis warranty...

Lucky me! Of coz the reason being coz I need to trade in my BlackBerry.. which Maxis definiately will not entertain..
After an about 1 hour, I got my iPhone with the Maxis warranty with a free screen protector (although I know iPhone 3Gs don't really need it) and a discount on Melkco leather case in red - please take note that this Melkco Skinny leather case is soooooo darn hard to find!!!! and I got it at RM60 only....
Oooo the best part of all, the seller has helped me to transfer all of my 1k++ contacts from my BlackBerry to my iPhone in just a few minutes.. Everything's in there...

So, if anyone of you interested to get a slightly cheaper iPhone with Maxis warranty (and you are not Maxis customer) can email me for further info of the buyer (yusvogue@yahoo.com) or you can just pusing-pusing Low Yatt and find it out yourself...

guys.. wanna ask.. is it possible to do a transfer of ownership of the iphone (maxis set) if i sell it to another guy? if not.. how is he going to claim warranty if anything happen?

and also... how much can a 3Gs 32GB (warranty until Dec 2010) sell now?

Added on April 28, 2010, 6:46 amYou cannot transfer ownership of the iPhone per se. Once sold, the buyer must possess the 'warranty card' and have the original owner's details if and when he/she needs to make a warranty claim.

As for the pricing, it is always willing buyer willing seller basis. To get a feel of it, please scour GS here.

after i do some research.. i think the price of 3Gs 32GB should be around 2200 - 2300 right? i plan to sell it.. but if the price too low.. then dont want to sell d.. hope some experience seller can enlighten me.. thanks

does the 0% interest apply to the amex gold credit card from maybank?

isnt amex a charge card? you should at least have a visa or master from maybank, since maxis is using that merchant device.
