I think some maxis centre have to wait or prebook your iphone while some dont have to. I booked my iphone from maxis ttdi and till today haven't got it.. booked it months back.Then I just drop by a Mac Studio at BSC and got it on the spot - 16GB 3Gs. No queue and got in within minutes. Strangely in Maxis to buy an iPhone without contract is just pay and go but in Mac Studio they asked me to buy a sim card which is an additional RM8.
For maxis post paid users who have not bought an iphone before will get an additional RM200 rebate. Unfortunately I was a iPhone and ivalue plan 2 user - just upgraded to 3Gs - no discount.
