im confused of all these products since their objectives are the same like Muscle building and recovery.
What are their differences and whether advisable to mix and use them as everyday?

when i go to G&C.... the sales man said almost the same thing , this one and that one all the same, depend on you...

Can i have expert to guide me buying the right type of supplement ? Im not into Malek Noor muscle building but im looking forward to have a solid muscle like Ironman runners, slim and muscular . Perhaps good bodybuilt like Lance Armstrong .

If U wanna compare Accelerade vs Endurox fair enuff. Both are recovery drinks, with some hint of protein inside. Whey Protein vs Muscletech fair enuff, both are protein formulas. But not Accelerade vs Endurox vs Whey Protein vs Muscletech. If that GNC salesperson told U they're all the same, then something must be wrong with him.

Protein is protein...your body doesn't care if the protein comes from a $1500 supp or $4 chicken breast, protein is protein.

ok thanks, kind of understand now but how much protein is needed ? is it based on weight?
and how much of protein is in a chicken thigh? So is 1 chicken thigh enough per day for 100KG body weight?

100kg= needs 220g of protein a day. 1 chicken breast around 25g protein, whole egg 6g protein, 1 scoop whey usually 24g protein. You do the maths.

1 to 1.5g of protein a day per pound of body weight. Split into 6 meals in a day.

You do the math.

well if you compare Accelerade vs Endurox

Accelarate has more sodiem per serving vs Endurox

Endurox has more protein per serving vs Accelarate

Fyi, both Accelarate and Endurox has the same ingredient when compare .

But I only found the Accelerate in powder form in malaysia.

that man must be crazy to tell you Accelerade vs Endurox vs Whey Protein vs Muscletec is all the same. LOL

Go train at the terrain or mountain everyday. then you will have the same body as Armstong-the great. tongue.gif

i notice endurox is more expensive than accelerade.
seems like accelerade and endurox have sugar and electrolytes which were the extras as compare to just protein products like 100 Whey Protein.

I like to make one introduction in this thread, Glucolin. It's also labeled as Energy drink but in the nutritient label, i only read some Carbo and Energy Kcal .... no protein or whatsoever.
It was made with Fructose or glucose which i believe is only sugar.

can it give energy as compare to drinks like Accelerade and Endurox.

Here something simmilar...

Q: Teck Leong, thanks for your informative reply. The consumption of high GI food is recommended for both cutting and bulking too?
There are many things which i read online and now i'm confused about the consumption of high GI food (dextrose/ Vitargo) after workout. Some say that while you are cutting, you cannot consume it post workout, some say you should consume it post workout even if you are cutting.I'm confused. Haha. take your time in replying. i appreciate your advises A LOT. haha

A: No need to be confused laaaaaaaaaaa. Haha look !
If you think fast acting is not to be add for post wkt....Are you suggesting whey alone or any protein stuffs.... ?????
So to say it's best to take 2/3 scoops of whey protein alone??????

You already knew that the protein you consume would not be used as it's intended to be used, meaning protein should be use to build and repair muscle-cells but it's being converted to glucose for glycogen replenishment. In other words, you take protein and use it as a carbs source. More expensive protein to replace inexpensive carbs------also asking your body to do more works of converting protein by dropping its nitrogen compound-----increasing your body's burdent ( expensive cost and experience). YOU ARE WASTING YOUR EXPENSIVE PROTEIN.
Look around your gym, see those people making simple mistake like that means they know nothing at all about sport nutrition.

Haha good lesson, right????

So it's a must have ....right??? Do you agree? YES OF COURSE.
But.. the main concern here is quantity.....QUANTITY..
So long as the carbs you add is less than you burn/use during the whole wkt, you are still running a deficit. When you run a deficit,....you are still losing weight.... or lose FAT when you have also kept your protein intake high......

Of course, some say this and some say that.............IF you want to learn mathermatics....Would you consider learning from someone who scores A+ or you wanna ask someone who fails.....haha I hope you are clear.

the article above does it mean the key to get tone down and slimmer is to reduce sugary contents like glucose, fructose etc but to increase intake of protein .

i been drinking glucose and accelerade during the running exercise. should i just take normal water in?
