Hi guys,

I am in a dilemma whether to choose Toshiba 47ZV600E or Sony 46EX400 models.

Can you guys help me out by telling me the pro and cons of both brands since Sony is more expensive?

My friend told me that ZV series is running on 200hz and Sony is only 100hz.

Please advise and thanks all sifu in advance.

First of all,EX400 sony is not 100hz motion flow model..
secondly,zv series toshiba is actually 100Hz model,cope up with toshiba clear scan technolory,making it 200Hz EFFECT ..

For price wise,I definitely go for toshiba as I can save much a lot ..Sony is expensive due to Sony buy the lcd tv panel from other manufacturer.

For picture wise,definitely go for Toshiba Zv series..Toshiba ZV series still one of the best lcd tv i have observe till now.The picture quality results from 14 bit video processing producing vivid and attracting picture.The full glare panel of Zv series is another factor i choose for it,although some hate the reflections occurred.

As i heard,till 30 September,if you buy zv series toshiba lcd tv , can get a free HDMI dvd player from toshiba directly...

Anyway it just my opinions...

just bought 42zv at cheras @ RM3200 this evening.
not quite happy with the price as later (i mean tonite) i found out that i can get much cheaper than above price..
Someone from seapark selling me rm3080 and previous post sum1 said that i can get 47ze @ RM3500 (i just add another RM300 n i cn bring home a zv47)

argh!!!! im goin to quit smokin for a month to cover my deficit.

anyway.. jeng jeng jeng. im goin to njoy my zv tonite...
d moment i opened d box.. this zv give me a strange feelin a wow feelin ! just like 'u took ur wife shirt off for d 1st time' feelin

Is HongLeong insurance ... 2 yrs original warranty from toshiba and i paid $500 for extra 3 years warranty...

Hi , Would like to ask what's the difference in PQ for ZV600 if we connect to Astro SD using S-Video cable and RF cable? Is there major diff in PQ quality?

For your consideration, Jintex is selling it 38++ with free HDMI player

confused ........ the extended warranty is provided by hong leong insurance or toshiba ? if it is hong leong insurance then what happens if the tv needs to be repaired ?

HL will pay the repair cost, else they will replace new toshiba tv with the cost about same with the insured value.
My prev samsung 32" LCD was koyak immediately after the 2 yrs warranty so I wanna make sure this tv atleast can tahan 5 yrs

I see 47ZV600 not popular here. Is it because of the price?
btw, where can i get cheapest 42ZV600 in klang valley?

I just fully paid for a 47ZV600E for RM3,600 (cash) from a shop in Taipan for my parents with delivery on next saturday ....... they are having a crazy promotion until tomorrow and I am really really tempted to get one for myself also.

any suggestions how to dispose off my old CRT TV ?

i get my 42ZV600 3190 last time. Just few hundred difference...

got it from SS2, but there guy above got it from taipan for a cheaper price tho

I asked two other shops in Taipan and they quoted cash price of RM3,900 and RM3,999 respectively. this particular shop which I bought from just opened their branch in Taipan and is currently having a "crazy" promotion.

most likely I will get one for myself today .........

just got one for myself ....... RM3,600 cash price and to be delivered on the coming Saturday

i have a lil problem though, the TV wont seems to display anything from my PC even thou its detected and i have already set everything to what its supposed to be, it will display contents from my laptop but not my desktop, any ideas why ? =/ so frustrated
