Hi, new 42ZV owner here.

I have a question for those owner that plug the HDMI1 from their HTPC.

I plug my PC to the ZV using HDMI to HDMI cable.

I notice that the edge of is sort of clip off on the ZV on 4 sides, but my LCD monitor displays everything.

Does anyone encounter this too? it could be my Display card.

What output resolution did u select on the card?

Also did u set the correct aspect ratio on the display? Select the one that does not overscan, based on what u r saying, the display aspect ratio u selected is overscanning.

Resolution set to 1920x1080, aspect ratio is wide. what do you mean do not overscan? what is your suggestion.

To me its like missing a 10 lines on each side.

Thanks bro, definitely will go to your thread to bug you for a dummy in calibration like me.  Who knows If I get poisoned too much with calibration, I might consider the upgrade  tongue.gif

Daren, any good news on your calibration exercise? wink.gif

Added on May 26, 2010, 5:35 pmGoing to mount my 55ZV this weekend as it is taking up too much space on the TV cabinet. There is no space for the centre speaker. Hope everthing works out. sweat.gif After that, will have to tidy up all the "spaghetti" behind the cabinet.

Any good recommendation mounting brackets? Preferably for 40" & above which can be tilted left / right / up / down.
I wonder if those RM180++ are solid. And worry bout the space from the TV to the wall once it's mounted.

If you are buying those mounting bracket which allow tilting left/right/up/down, usually it will have enough gap between the back of the tv and the wall. 40" tv is not that heavy because mine 55" only using those RM120++ mounting bracket nia tongue.gif

Hello ZV600E fans, just got mind last Friday. 42". Got it cash for 3499 from ONKING.

The guy was pushing to sell the 46rz600e for 4.5k, but no comparison compared to the ZV series!!

Now calibrating it based on my preferrence, now tuning TV is like rocket science! So far played with the auto backlight and black/white level.

Because ZV provides many useful features needed for proper calibration, hence you found many unfamiliar features for normal users like us. For guidance in tuning your tv settings for color management, contrast, brightness, sharpness, could try those test pattern disc like Digital Video Essentials : HD Basic which could be bought from Amazon.com if you don't plan to go deeper to calibrate your tv using colorimeter.

How do you connect your PS3 to your tv and HTFS2300 ? Have you checked the HDMI audio setting in your tv ?
