QUOTE(lca120 @ May 18 2010, 12:08 PM) i jz left the setting as it is for "autoview" mode I still not too sure what caused the light black shadow you mentioned but could only guess the artifacts of the image especially on those poor SD source channel, so just wanna to see how you set these features. Whether it is a best setting or not, very subjective but my settings below for Astro in Dynamic picture mode which I found suit my viewing preference where less artifacts and noises on the picture and yet still could maintain the clarity and sharpness level of the picturecan you tell me what's the best settings for Noise Reduction, MPEG Noise, Sharpness and Resolution+ settings ? thanksssssss NR = Off MPEG Noise = Low Sharpness = 22 Resolution+ = 3 You may try use another Picture Mode (can try Standard mode if you find Dynamic too bright for you) and tune the settings a bit |

QUOTE(domokun @ May 18 2010, 10:33 AM) Alright! used a 5 meter chaplang brand from carrefourErm, not sure about that? I guess they do collaborate with some banks which is quite common cost me ~ 30 ringgit used for my PC (9600GT - hdmi out) and play Transformer 1080 (or rather cinema format) and found out laggy the sounds seems to slowly lag behind the video (gom player) while WMC have some jump in the audio too check and check initially thought the cable then seems to see that my process while playing the movie is 100% so...dilly-dally , thought about buying a xonar (cause using integrated audio with a pentium 4 d930, thus maybe too taxing on the system) then done a final uninstall all player+codec and reinstall WMC and what do know all went by without a hitch and the process <50% so in the end a 1080 is not so hard my pressler + 9600gt + onboard audio plays fine and all problem starts from the codec and the video is just soo.... sweet |

HDMI slot at the back of the tv.. DVI use another converter to VGA and slot in the laptop/netbook. err i am not so sure about thiswhat is the max reso for this? audio wise? but afaik dvi-vga converter dont means it converts dvi signal to vga but rather a dvi standards carries two type of signal, analog and digital where the 4 (i think) bigger pins carries analog signals wherethe vga will taps in it the rest of the smaller pins (lotsa them) carry digital signal specifically which, i think is where the hdmi taps the signal from so while it is able to connect physically the signals does not crosses between the two sets of line so you will endup like not connected at all but you can try, i can try, but i lack the dvi-hdmi cable anyone knew better please do correct me This post has been edited by mcchin: May 19 2010, 09:11 AM |
