yes for BD are using HDMI, don't think is the cable problem cause when watching astro it happen too, astro using S-cable came together with the TV, seem like me only my set got such problem
anyway since it not so serious i think just let it 1st, don't tend to call the toshiba technician ppl and then take my tv do some kind of experiment...lol

I believe this is caused by the HDMI handshake between your device and the tv. So far I only encountered once or twice when watching BD for my 11 months old set
icic, guess should be like what you said handshake problem

, but i realise watching movie on BD really more senstive than DVD era..., even the audio i plug-in on my old HITB with optical cable causing problem
