Don't feel sad. I'm more unhappy than you. Registered on 17th March with several calls and visits to TMPoint and until now, nothing is progressing. Maybe I'll get the netbook next 25 years.

Could be as soon as 1 day later or as late as 2 weeks later.. Mine was 3 days later.. But that was it. Failed to install requested speed. Now I'm stuck for weeks of no progress.. I'm really really happy..

Yup, that's true. Only Celcom customers can call 100 line. I don't think it was expensive though coz they charged us at a fixed price for a single call; RM1... So, even you're stuck with the phone for 24 hours waiting for them to answer you up, it'll still be RM1..



I think after 2 years, the price will remain the same coz I believe the 2 years contract is only meant to forbid you from premature termination of the service. Fiber? No idea.

Bad move me thinks. If your house line have some trouble to receive the new speed, you'll be stuck like me.. It is much more preferable to request something that you can confirm will get coz the 4Mbps requires certain specifications. If you just proceed with 1Mbps first, you'll get your netbook processed after the installation is successful. Remember, your netbook will only be processed after a successful installation.

I applied on 17th March and until now, my request for 4Mbps is troubled with some problems.. So, until now, my netbook is still not in process.

Off-topic: I believed you typed those single-handedly coz I just did and got few spelling errors here and there.

Contract is there to forbid you from terminating their service, which means you can upgrade/downgrade anytime you like. No, after successful installation, wait for an email from HP so that you'll know they already processing the netbook. Only then, you are encouraged to upgrade to a faster speed. Don't worry, you'll get the new RM88 for 4Mbps if the installation is a success.

I find many people got themselves confused with the term broadband. Broadband means fast internet connection.. I believed what you are trying to say is Mobile Broadband like the celcom, digi, maxis,umobile, P1 wiggy and amax wimax usb broadband. If that is what you mean, then no. Coolunipack plan entitled you a free HP MIni 210 netbook and a wireless modem router for you to connect to the internet at your home via WiFi.. Plus, you will be given Streamyx Zone ID for free so that you can use them when you are in the Streamyx Zone WiFi range..

They used the word "Free Broadband" because they are probably referring to the 0 installation cost and activation fee.

Whenever there's the word "Streamyx", it's never meant to be mobile (at least as of now) coz they are on a fixed line..
