just apply it today.. but trouble when i went to TM Point.
yesterday i went to TM POINT, he says i need to bring my dad as the current streamyx account is under him. then today morning i bring my dad. after i queue for 45 minutes and he say i need to get official stamp from university.. He din said it yesterday. so i went to my university and stamp it and go back to the TM point and finally registered.

for those who wan to apply, prepare for these stuff 1st before you go
in case TM staff play game with us!

1) get the form from TM Point and get official stamp and sign by university.
2) letter of endorsement from university.
3) if your current streamyx is not under ur name, bring the owner to register or write an authorization letter and photostat his/her IC.
*4) parent pay slip? maybe..  [N]3on being ask by tm staff for this..

can i apply for the unipack, get the netbook, sell the netbook, as i got a laptop, then use the money got from the netbook to pay for the Unipack bills, and still got some moneys to use? lolz

Added on March 3, 2010, 7:47 pmI was trying to call TM customer service center for inquiring about this promotion, but the call keep waiting and I was listening to their own TM promotion for more than 5 minutes and still my call wasn't reach to any technical assistance yet, so end up the call straight away, and it was wasting my money to make this ^&$*^ call for just listening to ^&$*#^.

Can I straight away upgrade my current streamyx to CoolUni Pack 4mbps if the streamyx owner is not under my name? Yes I do know if according to TM law I have to terminate it before registering a new streamyx, but I heard some of the TM staff allow customer to straight away upgrade to this package eventhough the owner is not under my name. Is it possible?

I just called TM Toll Free and 100 from my HomeLine, I've double checked with them, they say for those current streamyx account is not under the student name but their relative can still able to direct upgrade the current streamyx account to Cool UniPack without needed to terminate the current account and quarantine for 30 days. I've double called TM toll free for checking and 100 for checking this as well, and also I've email TM, and this was what I received,

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for contacting TM.

Referring to your e-mail dated 3th March 2010 on Cool Uni Pack. Kindly note that you are able to upgrade to Cool Uni Pack, you are required to walk-in to any nearest TMPoint to upgrade. You are request to bring your authorization letter with your student card.

the application status shown in the web said got error, den i went to TM again.. and the sad news.. no 4mb port for me T-T use back 1mb unipack.. got 4mb only upgrade..
by the way, now im using streamyx 1mb, cant they upgrade my line with 4mb? or 4mb need different port? hmm...
