well u might be wrong... chinese instrument might not have lots of public presentation like the english ones (MPO / Istana Budaya/ KLPac) almost daily presentation but around this time of the year there are lots of Classical Chinese Instrument performances in all the major shopping malls, almost to a daily affair thingy.

starting from today my sch as a bulter cum driver ferring "Pricess Lhasa" to all her performances.. 14 in 1U (both new & old wing), 4 in Lot 10 and 4 in Sri Hartamas is very hectic... lucky there is a reward of St James gate whenever i'm thirtsy.

If you like Chinese Classical Instrument .. do hang around here .. on and off whenever there is something around in Klang valley we will update it here.

In my humble opinion the main reason for the lack of publicity is mainly due to there is no gathering point / venue for it. Unlike English ones they have MPO, KLPac where a rich Tan Sri and big coporate boys financially supporting them.
The Chinese ones left tingling alone and the worst is they often "fight" and back stabbing among themselves ..... you know lar since Perang Larut tis is the Chinese culture thing mah "Hai San" & "Ghee Hin"

For the piano ... just let the ur heart be the judge.... if the kids starting to loves it .. get a beginner piano then venture into better ones. For info a good piano is a good investment if the timming is right.
I got the gals their GCP1 when the dollar was around 2.30+.. now is 3.10+... the new tag for a GCP1 now hit to RM60K+... I paid it less than RM45K with great discount of course from my buddy the Yamaha salesman as he need to reached his quota tat year and cash terms...

I'll be there with my team again....

Mayb I have to cancell my plans of attending this great performance. My eldest gal will be attending. Me & Mei-mei will not be due to this.

she was invited by her so-call ah boy to attend it on Sat nite with their family. tickets paid since last dec... sori.

i will be more than a happy man if mei mei can make to finals. Not easy tis time; 高手 alot as the prizes are veri attractive and its an open competition... winner gets 6 days trip to Hongkong representing Malaysia ..all expenses covered.

But i will be attending all the rounds and see tat its a fair competition or just another BOLEH game !

I hope they allow my cam to b inside else i will try alternative to capture the finals for u to watch if u miss it.... hahahaha.

no problem... but after i come back for CNY...

2nd day CNY still in Kampung lar bru....LOL.

the last 3 weeks i been thru a tough time ... not regarding work or $ but ferring my gal to her performances... gheeeee.... no time to do
have a nice pint of St. James gate at times even.

Even I've to get my staff to change the 'sau kong' dinner to lunch and skippin almost all the invitations from others to attend
their dinners.

2 more performances then I really sau kong for tis year ..! LOL

GONG XI FAT CHAI to all... .

I was down wit a bad cold & fever from eve of CNY until 4th day of CNY....... wat a way to start my Metal Rabbit year *sigh*.

everyday was pretty high on PARAKOL instead of wai-si-kai & pak-lan-teh..... real kena kaw-kaw one tis time...hardly fall sick for a long long time as I can recall.

Came back to KampungKUL on Sat.; 3rd day of CNY but body ache like mad.. I wish we can fix-up something next couple days
b4 Chap Goh Mei hopefully ok..... but must go easy on the botol stuff as tis old skeleton still yet to recover from the stupid cold until today..

I need to get Mei-mei's AKG & BB to brudder Empire for comparison... hopefully he got his DIY pickup fixed...
and wishfully he will roast us some New Year goodies instead of a cake ...hahaha. Empire bru ..u know wat i wan ahhhhh... TQ.

Mei-mei cannot b able to make it as she will be xtremely busy wit her Annual Valentine Interact sales tat 2 days.
Busy packing roses and wrapppin choc. gifts for sales.... my house again turn to a big Interact camp again.
In fact she had to drop a Solo Performance in Tropicana Golf club due to tis thing.... and her teacher/band manager is not
veri happy over it .

my gals starting set less than RM25. (4xLHS) +(4xRHS).....but now her set is thick with groove. Cost RM35 for LHS & RM35 for RHS.

The groove set i got them from Sunway mentari; CCMA.

RM45 for 8 turtle nails not tat bad unless u wan some plastic nails.. ..... fees very reasonable...

tape RM5 .. std price unless u buy in bulk.... (white color better than the brown ones).

... next if u decided to carry on.... THEN the choice of ur 'weapon'...

that shit stuff really $$$$.... only for special occasion like CNY gathering only. Cannot afford too often even from DUTY free.
