I am now based in KL (PJ) and I'm looking for traditional instruments to record (I fell in love with the Gu Zheng! Such a gracefull and emotive instrument!!) I have mics and all the gear and I come wherever u want (in KL )

Would any one of you know where I can go to "sneak around" traditional musicians?? These kind of music contest Subangman was talking about would be Ideal!!

bru.. sori for not returning ur call yst as promised due to both phones battery run out and stranded in the bloody airport. The entire 3hrs flight
back was like hell... going thru turbulance and before landing to KampungKUL the pilot took 2 attempts before safely landed due to storm...

tis weekend we will b down to JB meetin her sifu for class after nearly 1mth layoff .... school exams and Suntec competition.

after tat will b heading back to north b4 both my dads nag me forgotten to remember them... the worse shall b from my father-in-law.

so the meetup @ my house during Haj might need to KIV unless u all like to have a havoc quickie near KL after 5pm.

FaceLess... its not plagiarism because all musician I record play on MY songs, they have a headphone with my music playing and they play what they feel on top of it, and I record... I mention all of them once the mix is finished!

Also can not always have to meet for playing instrument. Can just meet to catch up with each other. I have not been playing guzheng for past 2 months anyway. Not in the right mood. Cant get the sound I want.

Faceless...if I no mood...whatever I play also no mood. It's true. They are no more music...but merely 'sounds'. Music is all about emotions.

Like that means pro musician must learn to be in good mood all the time. Looks like I need some time to manage these mood swings first. Now my mood like equity market swing up and down.

we are all humans. We have ups and downs. It's normal.

I am beginning to think the zheng (or any music instruments) is the best tool to measure moodiness. No matter how you try to be in best moods it show in your playing. Either you produce music or just sounds.
