QUOTE(DeathSpiritz @ Dec 12 2011, 12:20 AM) hey guys, i need to book my flights to Sydney. So i read through the information given and I have chosen MAS since SIA and Qantas need to travel to SG. I have booked a oneway flight with the price of 1.5k. Issit expensive or cheap? apparently i have checked through but only 20kg baggage allowance but i always heard friends said there will be 40kg baggage allowance? anyone can giv me advice on this? you can get cheaper flight tickets if you bought them during the promotion period =) and you can look into MH GRADS card, that allows another 10kg. your friend might be taking business class so its 30kg+10kg from GRADS. my ticket is around 1k KUL>melb.

QUOTE(ilovebeauty @ Dec 11 2011, 08:32 PM) hey guys.. got a question here for those studying in UQ.. i have submitted my application form to the UQ representative since August and i havent gotten any news abt my application status so far.. is it normal for them to take this long or something's not right for example im not eligible/too many applicants... im super super worried thx in advance Considering that wasn't a peak period like right now, it shouldn't take too long. Other than critical course you should just need at most 2 weeks before they decide whether to reject/give you an offer/give you a conditional offer. You should send them an email. If you and apply for MAS's GRADS card for students, you can get free 10kg of weight with MAS.

Since you are going to be new in Perth, I would suggest you to rent a place near UWA e.g. suburbs Nedlands/Crawley for the first semester. Once you are fully settled and got familiar with Perth, then you may move out and rent somewhere else during semester 2. Hope that helps. =]

They are a bit pricey, like trinity and currie hall. I lived far far away last time. Didn't bother me. The public transport system in perth is one of the best i've seen so far. cheap too.

There are other websites e.g. easyroommate. Else, you can always book for a temporary accommodation in one of the residential colleges for 2-3 weeks, and then scout around for room inspection.

What is the aim of finding out if someone is headed to a particular place at a defined time? There is a reason why we have the front page. Re scyap: Just hope we don't get another flood!

No, medical examinations from places other than the panel clinics listed won't be accepted for your visa application. The clinic will be sending your results directly as well so non panel clinics won't know what to do with your results.

Hopefully it can be done within a day. Thank you
