if u do notice WM7 minimum requirement, u will know HD3 is definitely design for WM7.
And yet, WM7 is still unofficial. The requirement were written by rumors fags, not by Microsoft.

There are only rumors. Do you know if WM7 is built on a whole new platform or is it still using Windows CE 5 platform? The answer is, no one knows except Microsoft.

There's nothing but rumors.

Just wait for the MWC in February, then we'll see if Microsoft are true to their words that WM7 is based on a whole new platform or still using Windows CE 5 platform. If WM7 is still based on Windows CE 5, I'd move to Android.

Nahh, I'll just wait for it to be official, else, it's only rumors to me.
No information is written by Microsoft themselves.

Even their website didn't say anything about WM7.

Strange.
Since the 1st day I use 23518 F5, there's no SOD while charging even after a whole night of charging.

Hmm... hmm.gif

I didn't have SOD issues for quite a while but just like I mentioned earlier on, this current 23518 is really a battery drainer.
I kinda agree...... I think.

haha.. sob sob.. gotta wait a while more for little bit better rom on battery life.

anyway, i think it is a best question to ask bro tompok..

1) i subcribed to valkyrie thread. but weird is they owes skip to send me email regarding reply. only send me a few email if i go bak to read the thread myself. after send a few email, then stop again.

2) wats da difference between 23518 and 23518-F5?
1) I don't know what to answer on question 1 because I don't subscribe to Valkyrie's thread.

2) Not sure either as I didn't see any differences between the 2 ROMs, but if agent_47 said there's a performance increase, I believe him. I don't think he'd lie. biggrin.gif

Wow! Everything is super fast on Valkyrie LEO v5.6 21889. biggrin.gif
Garmin XT loads faster.
Mapking 2007 loads faster.
PaPaGo X5 loads faster.
Loading Windows folder through File Explorer is faster.
Windows loads faster.
HTC Sense loads faster.

Everything is faster in v5.6 21889. thumbup.gif
Owh did I forgot to mention graphic is faster too? tongue.gif

This comparison is made by comparing Valkyrie LEO v5.6 23518 & Valkyrie LEO v5.6 21889

The only downside is the start menu & the OK button is on the top of the screen. Other than that, everything is perfect. wub.gif

PS: Ameba is not cooked in Valkyrie LEO v5.6 21889, thus there's no white start bar menu problem. thumbup.gif

Somehow agent_47 has also started cooking QuickMenu inside Valkyrie v5.6 21889.
However, agent_47 doesn't really integrate QuickMenu & it can easily be disabled, not like NRGZ28 ROMs where you have to install a CAB to disable the QuickMenu.
What's the cookers obssesion with QuickMenu? LOL. laugh.gif

PS: By the way, v5.6 21889 also drains battery as fast as v5.6 23518. I believe the quick battery draining has something to do with the hardware accelaration fix as it made v5.6 21889 even faster than any valkyrie 2188# I've ever tested.

usually no need to format. just format once. maybe there is an error when u transfer the file to ur SD.
Or an error while downloading.
ROM files is very delicate.

If you're going to download using download manager which will use multiple connection, don't ever use more than 4 connections.
I've always had corrupted ROMs if I'm using more than 4 connection.

QUOTE(lemond @ Jan 28 2010, 01:14 AM)
i got invalid model id error after the install bar come out from tri colour..
Just as I've expected.
It's a corrupted ROM.
Re-download it again but this time don't use any download manager.

I've always used PC as a method to flash my X1, I've never used MicroSD to flash my X1, thus I do know what I'm talking about. biggrin.gif

1 more important note if you're going to flash using your computer: DO NOT run Windows Media Player, the success rate of flashing X1 using PC while Windows Media Player is running is 1%. laugh.gif

I'm serious.

class 6?
Does it matter? Dude! It's RM65, don't put too much expectation to it. biggrin.gif
Even a 8GB MicroSD Class 4 in here will cost you RM65 ~ RM75, how much do you think 16GB MicroSD Class 6 will cost in here? laugh.gif
