QUOTE(SubKi||er @ Jan 23 2010, 03:06 PM) Fuyoh, flashing through USB cable heats up my battery... It's normal. If this normal or what? I'm on Valkyrie 5.6.23518 already If your MicroSD support flashing, then flash using MicroSD. Some MicroSD doesn't support flashing [Like mine It's much much safer to flash using MicroSD compared to using USB cable. However, do make sure that the battery is at 100% before flashing. PS: Saw your support on my request for removing 16 quick links in XDA, will give you what you requested earlier, but please be patience. You know what I mean. There's a small problem with installing PaPaGo X5 on Valkyrie's ROM. Valkyrie ROMs can't recognize special characters, thus the autorun installer won't load at all.
I've tested on EnergyROM, the autorun installer for PaPaGo X5 loads perfectly since EnergyROM doesn't have any problem recognizing special characters. To those wanting to install PaPaGo X5, becareful, as you have to do a lot of trial & error before you got to install PaPaGo X5 perfectly without any errors. |

Hmm... I don't see any differences between Valkyrie FireStorm LEO v5.6 23518 & Valkyrie FireStorm LEO v5.6 23518 F5.

QUOTE(kenlui @ Jan 24 2010, 09:37 AM) @tompok82 What's ameba? Since the refreshed version of 23518 speed is not that significant, I guess I'll stay with the previous version. Lazy to reinstall everything. Btw, did u try deleting the ameba from the reg? I've the white start button issue from time to time. Just wondering whether I should delete it or not. |

QUOTE(sunnyboy @ Jan 25 2010, 02:38 PM) those bro rkwan n tompok introduce 1....dun know y...it crashes, some giv prob like un-recognised chinese character... None of us is having crashes, though there may be a few lockups, but no crashes.About the chinese character, think for 1 minute, most of those ROM cookers are not chinese. I don't think anyone of them is Chinese. NRGZ228 is an American, agent_47 is an Indian & system-zero is from Japan. Not sure about other cookers though. Why would they cook chinese input & character in their ROMs if they aren't going to use it? Remember, these cookers cook their rom to their own personal liking. They do it for fun. They aren't paid to cook ROMs. Cooking a rom is about cuztomizing a ROM to your own liking. You want something perfect, cook your own ROM. QUOTE(chinseng85 @ Jan 25 2010, 06:36 PM) call firewall what version r u using? I've tested Version 1.4 lor.the latest v1.4 is reported working on LG KS20, HTC Touch Diamond, HTC Diamond2 Topaz, HTC HD2 Leo, Samsung Omnia i900 have no sign of crash atm. quite easy to use also. Nevermind lar, Pocket Call Bouncer is much much easier to use & it works perfectly on my X1. The UI is much much better too. By the way, I'm getting sick with white start menu symptoms that kept popping on my X1. How do you guys remove ameba huh? This post has been edited by tompok82: Jan 25 2010, 06:50 PM |

QUOTE(sunnyboy @ Jan 25 2010, 08:53 PM) the way u talk abt my case is like, me forcing those cooker to do a perfect stuff for me.... I'm sorry if I've offended you.i just voice up the setup for my x1i, is it a "lousy" choice that i choose to use ori rom? or i MUST follow u guys way to keep on flashing flashing on x1i? my job function hav to dealt with ppl that use mandarin, so i got no choice but to look for a custom rom that can read mandarin. up to date i cant get a chinese rom that is stable. i tried 1 rom by sun_dream,the rom keep hang on front page, it makes me mis-up getting important calls.... It's just that, there's no perfect customized ROM, it's also a fact that if you want a ROM to be like how you wanted, you'll have to learn to cook your own ROM. I'm learning about it as well, but since my knowledge about registry editing is uber low, I may have a hard time in cooking my own ROM. By the way, no, it's a not a lousy choice to use the original ROM, it's just that most of us can't stand using the original ROM as it lags like hell, low eye candy and most customized ROMs are even faster than the original ROM. |

QUOTE(chinseng85 @ Jan 26 2010, 10:37 AM) another rumored htc device In the end of the year, there's gonna be 2 new processors from Qualcomm.this time is HD3 The 1st one is a 1.5GHz processor. The 2nd one is a dual core processor, though no information is available on what speed is the dual core processor. But then even if it's a dual core 528MHz processor, it'll beat a 1.5GHz single core processor for sure. Multi thread is always better than single thread. QUOTE(chinseng85 @ Jan 26 2010, 10:37 AM) if this is real, then HD3 is definitely for WM7. I disagree. As much as I love Windows Mobile, Android platform is growing even faster & catching more market than Windows Mobile. Microsoft themselves made a statement that they'll probably stop engineering Windows Mobile in the near future as it has no market. |
