Why is there so many people going crazy using Android on Xperia?
Is it because Android is a faster operating system compared to Windows Mobile?

I'm the only 1 posting in agent_47 thread requesting him to cook a Valkyrie FireStorm LEO v5.6 23518 without the 16 quick links.

It's normal.

If your MicroSD support flashing, then flash using MicroSD. Some MicroSD doesn't support flashing [Like mine ].
It's much much safer to flash using MicroSD compared to using USB cable. However, do make sure that the battery is at 100% before flashing.

PS: Saw your support on my request for removing 16 quick links in XDA, will give you what you requested earlier, but please be patience. You know what I mean.

There's a small problem with installing PaPaGo X5 on Valkyrie's ROM. Valkyrie ROMs can't recognize special characters, thus the autorun installer won't load at all.

I've tested on EnergyROM, the autorun installer for PaPaGo X5 loads perfectly since EnergyROM doesn't have any problem recognizing special characters.

To those wanting to install PaPaGo X5, becareful, as you have to do a lot of trial & error before you got to install PaPaGo X5 perfectly without any errors.

There's a lot of lockups while typing SMS on Valkyrie FireStorm LEO 5.6.23518 F5.

PS: Now I know what you guys are talking about the "white start bar menu". Am having that problem right now.

Yes, just delete the old Kovsimg.nbh & then replace it with a new one.

I'm bored with my X1.
Now saving money for the future PDA that has 1GHz SnapDragon processor with qwerty keyboard.

None of us is having crashes, though there may be a few lockups, but no crashes.
About the chinese character, think for 1 minute, most of those ROM cookers are not chinese. I don't think anyone of them is Chinese.
NRGZ228 is an American, agent_47 is an Indian & system-zero is from Japan. Not sure about other cookers though.
Why would they cook chinese input & character in their ROMs if they aren't going to use it?

Remember, these cookers cook their rom to their own personal liking. They do it for fun. They aren't paid to cook ROMs.

Cooking a rom is about cuztomizing a ROM to your own liking.

You want something perfect, cook your own ROM.

Does anyone in here knows if there's an application that can be installed in our X1 to block a certain numbers?

Already found it.
It's called CallFirewall.

Not sure if it works as I've yet to test it.
Want to block a customer of mine who keeps on bugging me for his own mistake voiding the warranty and asking me to refund his money.

CallFirewall is a very old program, it keeps on crashing my phone.

Now time to try Turbo Mobile Event 2.01 & Pocket Call Bouncer.

Turbo Mobile Event is....... very hard to configure.

I've tested Version 1.4 lor.
Nevermind lar, Pocket Call Bouncer is much much easier to use & it works perfectly on my X1.

The UI is much much better too.

By the way, I'm getting sick with white start menu symptoms that kept popping on my X1.

I'm sorry if I've offended you.
It's just that, there's no perfect customized ROM, it's also a fact that if you want a ROM to be like how you wanted, you'll have to learn to cook your own ROM.

I'm learning about it as well, but since my knowledge about registry editing is uber low, I may have a hard time in cooking my own ROM.

By the way, no, it's a not a lousy choice to use the original ROM, it's just that most of us can't stand using the original ROM as it lags like hell, low eye candy and most customized ROMs are even faster than the original ROM.

In the end of the year, there's gonna be 2 new processors from Qualcomm.
The 1st one is a 1.5GHz processor.
The 2nd one is a dual core processor, though no information is available on what speed is the dual core processor.

But then even if it's a dual core 528MHz processor, it'll beat a 1.5GHz single core processor for sure.
Multi thread is always better than single thread.

I disagree.
As much as I love Windows Mobile, Android platform is growing even faster & catching more market than Windows Mobile.

Microsoft themselves made a statement that they'll probably stop engineering Windows Mobile in the near future as it has no market.
