when i called am bank they tell me the rate around 4.5 for 7 years loan 4.70 for 9 years loan..

I don't know. My dealer did all the stuffs for me. I bought my City in Seremban. After the amBank staff called and confirmed my salary, my job place, then I get the loan straightaway.

No. 9 years. some more you can take full financial loan.

Depends on the manufacturing yr & the bank also. Sum bank offer 9yrs loan but sum just give 7yrs loan.

Better make Personal Loan with me any buy the car cash, some more 20 years and rate below 4%

after 20yrs .. can throw ur car into the sea & become "tukun tiruan"

Wanna ask, I buying a 2nd hand car from an owner directly.
So owner tell me that he expect to sell with cash, so if i plan to get loan for the car, i need to settle the loan part by myself.

So can I just walk into any bank branch and do the hire purchase loan? Any document I need to prepare or get from the owner in order to process the hire purchase loan?

Does u told the owner u will take loan? He agree on tat?

Basically u can walk in to any bank in to enquiry the loan matter.

All the things u need from the owner is a PHOTO COPY of the car grant.

Mine, public bank: 3.3% for 7 years
My fren, HLB 3.1% for 5 years.

I heard that current interest rate has changed a lot. They said this year is not a right time to buy car. Anyone know, how much is the interest rate for imported car ? for Maybank/cimb

Just got loan approved. 90K loan for 2009 used 1.8 Civic FD1 @ 3.8% for 9yrs tenure from Public Bank, Bukit Tinggi Klang branch. Loan arrangement were all done by a used car dealer.

Why is it that only local banks can/are doing car loans? What is preventing foreign banks from entering?

I dun think they will have much discount for the new launch model. But u can try bargain more free gift.

im planning to get a car and will have my dad as guarantor, personally i have some outstanding credit card loan. will it affect my loan application ? when it comes to purchasing a car does the bank consider more about the loaner or the guarantor?

im a student so im unable to provide income statement but i would like to have the ownership of the car to be mine if possible.
