screen already limited space, summore have black bars wanna block. and the black bar isnt thin. try watching a 16:9 on a 4:3 tv/monitor again.
if you are an apple fan, yea it is not annoying at all. infact all of apple's product shortcoming is not annoying to u. i completely understand.

Is it worth buying the 3G+WiFi version?
Can we modify (cut) the current simcard to half-simcard?

IMO, this iPad works in other country, not Msia I think, as 3G here is terrible, plus a netbook does cover almost all its function by a lower price and less future cost for additional software/application.

Unless iPad using a different OS, I don see a reason to limit my usage just for a light-weighted, longer battery life, touchscreen but having difficulty watching movies(need to do conversion on PC before sync the movie in), as a daily life necessity.

Quite pretty sure 80% of itunes app are not necessary for my usage.

At least a Macbook white allow you to switch OS to winXP without problem if you do not like the spiking an insensitivity of cursor in OSX SL.

The OSX mouse acceleration curve is different with winXP, insensitivity happen when winxp users are switching to mac.

Ah... I just love the arguement about gadget and computing for iPad.

I, myself don't know where to classify iPad. However, I am sure it will work better for the young working generation. As for students, I don't see any good use of iPad in class.

Hopefully Apple can squeeze decent enough multi-tasking capabilities in the 256mb ram in the iPad.

i can imagine the ipad would be terrible for your back and neck. I really don't see how this is going to be appealing even for the older masses.  Especially the older masses, when it comes to reading text in such a small viewing pane. Granted text can be zoomed in and out, but that completely misses the point of browsing through articles. Apple's ipad is making it such a hassle for browsers like me who skim through articles looking for something worth reading.  And to make matters worst, multitasking isn't supported.

Even if you are to hold it up to match your line of sight without straining your neck, the weight of the ipad is going to be a bother.  And the dimensions of the ipad doesn't work for mobile storage because not everyone would carry a fannypack.  It's easier to pocket an iphone but not the ipad.

This product is doomed to fail.
