you can still play both the game and dlc episode what? once you downloaded the episode, it will install in your hdd and play like your normal psn game

ok i completely overlooked this. i was under the impression that the dlc will not require gta4 disc, but after a bit researching, only the retail disc is standalone.

no guarantee that r2 disc will be compatible with other region's dlc.

yesterday went to Sony Style at Ikano, saje suka2 tgk game mahal. Was looking at the expensive ps3 games and suddenly the assistant came to me. I told him,

"Games here are expensive, why har?Outside is much more cheaper"

"Ya lor, this one original, outside not or"

I said,"I know is original, but why its expensive? Tax ke?"

"No, this is original"...

I lol-ed.

since when ps3 got pirated games ? stupid sales person @ sony centre... most of sales person there didnt know bout videogames thing , what they know was to sell the products a.s.a.p and to get monthly salary

it is okay if you can get a hold of R1 gta4. there is always way to buy from usa psn store.

And risk to be banned in PSN? Lol, i have enough ban hammer during my experience with "jiran sebelah" . Scared liao.....

y would u get banned for playing R1 DLC which u have bought legally....

unless u r talking about the legality of using a US PSN which i think is absurd for anyone to think that Sony will ban u for using a US address.....what if i resided in US and came to msia?? do i have to create a Msian PSN???

From what i understand,

1. Malaysian credit cards are not usable in US PSN.
2. The only way to purchase from US PSN is by reload card.
3. There are already instances in LYN where the people use the reload card then get banned due to the reload cards
are purchased through dubious means (stolen card number etc).

I believe certain Malaysian cards are usable and there was a list ...But i am not sure where it is anymore....

If you are not buying via entropay, then your options are the reload cards which are sold by a)local sellers or b)ebay members....

The one you were talking about was when the seller here was using a fraudalent credit card and buying on behalf of the ppl here..That is y it got banned..

if you buy online, they seller send the PSN codes to you directly which are usually valid ..

then login using ps3
after that i changed my username from user 1 to kuek

then i can no longer access playstation network in the ps3 menu
it says

unable to use on this account or sumting like that
