why don't you try buying a US psn card instead? much easier then to complain to SCEHK, who thinks the entire asian region is full of japanese people.

next gta4 dlc will be standalone episodes. it doesnt require the retail gta4 disc to be played/purchased.

downloadable episodes are also standalone and can be launched without gta4 disc. your point ?

most of the dlcs in psn are region locked, but there some are region free, like Dead Space and RE5 dlcs

so far no confirmation that GTA4 dlc episodes are not region locked. If you want to try it out whether its region free or not, it's up to you

but vorchiel already clarified that you don't need the disc to play the episode, so no need to worry whether it's compatiable or not

ok i completely overlooked this. i was under the impression that the dlc will not require gta4 disc, but after a bit researching, only the retail disc is standalone.

no guarantee that r2 disc will be compatible with other region's dlc.

it is okay if you can get a hold of R1 gta4. there is always way to buy from usa psn store.

y would u get banned for playing R1 DLC which u have bought legally....

unless u r talking about the legality of using a US PSN which i think is absurd for anyone to think that Sony will ban u for using a US address.....what if i resided in US and came to msia?? do i have to create a Msian PSN???

This morning manage to login through pc, but not ps3.

the length and quality of the shielding also plays a part. Longer length = higher signal attenuation = more noise at high bandwidth @ resolutions.
