Yea 450D the buttons doesn't suit me. D40 too small for my hands, everytime i shoot half day my little finger sure pain. BTW in d90 if i wan to change the AF point, is it the same with d40 (just click the direction button) or need to change in settings like 450D?

Owhhhh direction button! That's one of the MAIN reason i choose nikon. Easy to change AF point in the middle of a shot. ^^

hello , Im very new in this DSLR , I would like to ask .. do a lens effect the picture alot ? do I need a better  Camera Body  or a better lens to take a wonderful picture ?

what is prime lens ? I saw the website which show DX-lens only , izzit the DX lens is a prime lens ? what is the different prime lens and the normal lens ?

only using duplicate layer & eraser.
usually people use masking but i'm not good at that,so i'll stick to what i know.only simple editing,not that pro on photoshop...

very true that was kind of the reason i bought D40... i plan to learn n improve 1st.. once i feel more confident, then wont feel so guilty to upgrade body later. hopefully when d90 replacement is out, i'll have the skills and money worthy of it hehe

As i know the D90 had a built in focus motor in it right? If that's the case why not just get cheaper lenses which does not have focus motor built in it.. or does those with built in focus motor in the lense and the body will increase the speed of the focus?

about the shooting on 31/01/10, the location has been changed to damansara park (in front of 1 utama new wing) because this is the only park (in kl & pj) that allow pet to enter. i've done survey at the park, it's a very nice place for photoshooting coz there's man-made little lake, wooden huts, walk way path, and nicely maintained garden.

like what i've told illegaldragon87, we still have our same 2 models, but one of the models is not able to bring her pet. so we'll shoot her only on sunday. another one remain unchanged.

another thing, anyone of you heard of Zamrud? he is an experienced photography trainer in photomalaysia.com forum, and he has trained over 3000 students for the past 3 years. pls feel free to check out his works in flickr & photomalaysia forum.

i am in the midst of negotiation with him to hold photography workshops at a discounted price for all of us. normal price for beginner workshop is RM150-RM180 (check out his workshop ad Zamrud), but he agreed to charge only RM100 each for all these workshops - from beginner to advanced. but the only condition is we need to get 20 persons minimum to attend the workshop. are you guys interested?

even outdoor at noon also u might have problem with 200mm without VC. if ur budget under 1k, u shud go for 55-200 VR, can help a bit.

can consider sigma 18-200 OS HSM, but expensive la like 1.7k i think. i wont beat the 55-200, but at least u dun have to change lenses.

can consider 18-105mm as well, shud be juz slightly expensive than the 55-200.

no la bro..sb-900 can reach up to 200mm...its range are from 17-200mm,sb-600 from 24-70mm and sb-800 from 24-200mm
