Any ideas guys? Need advice from all sifu.
u can basically shoot anything at high quality by using a prime like 35mm f1.8.
the 18-270 VC is very nice as a all rounder multipurpose usage for travel ,landscape to portrait.
17-50 VC is also a good choice to replace the kit len as starter without spending for the 55-200.
high zoom are for snap shot / sports / animal shoots.
Dont buy a long zoom simply because u lazy to put yourself in good position to frame your target.

hi.im new here.
thinking of switching from digi cam to slr. at first was thinking of sony alpha models... but i took same quiz online..and result was nikon 5000..lol.. am beginner level. i do want the titled screen

.
would like to ask how much is the price range in msia?
for single and twin lens.
much appreciated if someone can answer me thanks
I would advice you to buy only the body alone and look for secondhand nikon kit lens just because alot of shop selling it in a set and the buyer normally will sell it real cheap in secondhand market in less than a month just to upgrades.
normally twin lens would be 18-55mm + 55-200mm in which they sell u the second 55-200 together with the package cheaper as if u buying the lens alone.
try nego for a cheap new d5000 body and then look around in garage sales for a lens that u want.
should consider for a 17-50 VC or a prime lens like 35mm f1.8 G or 50mm1.4 G ( both cost more than rm1500) which u ll upgrade eventually in the future Or u can scout for a all rounder lens like sigma 18-200 OS or the 18-270 VC that cover both the twin lens capability.
