pricing is important and i heard u guys managed to get a cheap rental in BTS.....so...price your goods cheaper...especially after CNY....i think business will be good for u.

easy access will b top priority, hopefully can group retail dept. and rma dept. in one place door to door without hassle of climbing to next few floors.....whole sweat and smell doesn't feel good...

as long cheaper than other shops is more good to me...the most ideal concept to me is like hypermarket style (refering to hardware, not drink or food)...can looks, feels n tests before buy...just wanna be more sure n more confidents...just my opinions...

I think it i not easy to open a shop.....so cannot ask scoot open here and there....
To Scoot, I think we need a hypermarket idea....but still retain the previous selling style to consult the noob customer who dont know hardware.  (something like Sri com did)Here is example of how bad for experience people who want to select a best mouse: customer: I want best mouse what u got? Shopper : We have % brand & brand and blah blah blah customer: Give me % brand I want to see. Shopper: here customer: Nah......no good mouse too big...take & brand. shopper: here customer :Nah....no good mouse look cacat. not nice.....take * brand. shopper: here customer Nah....no good at all too pricely!! and the convensation continue...(even some customer got fetup and go other stores) buy a mouse also need so many time....haizzzz....  |

do take into consideration that most forumer is tech-savy, hence prefer to look at the product and think for themself. Some aunty uncle would prefer ppl to recomend them the best item.

true what most people said.. location. i think most of LYP customer are not from within KL. Mostly PJ area. Should open 1 in pyramid, 1-utama or Midvalley... oh, and fair prices too.

ehhee.. got some comments to make if not, juz might change ur mind on the location. btw i prefer 'custome hardcore DIY'.. 'for enthusiast styled'. overclocking, case modding, exotic rigs/components. have products and stocks to cater enthusiasts, for example, stock in watercooling parts from dangerden and swiftech. stock DFI mobos and OCZ rams. (or any other product brand which gives ethusiast level performance. another idea is to have a lan gaming section there, 5-10 high end exotic computers maybe? at a dark but exoticly lighted setting, with a big banner saying 'EXTREME MACHINES : ONCE BROKEN CONSIDERED SOLD'.. and a electronic high score board(some sort like that, huge plasmas for a crowd to view the battles as well).. yeahh, put some mad lcd displays and some mad desktop combos for users. =) |

hmm what i tought is that u have some kind of like what all it has. with proper deco and stuff...neat and tidy, clean and stuff. in the shelves put like empty boxes of hardware(proc, gccard, etc excluding mouses and other minor pc stuff) so that shy customers like me can refer to and pricing and like when they need it the shop assistants can go inside take or sth. and also some branded items lyk sony and stuff would have their on booth, nice cashier, and DIY Pc booth similar to the ones in czone lowyat. With charirs, sweets (lol) and stuff. Make sure everything is in proper order. and for hardcore pc ppl can also have one section, sth like prancing hhorse said. well if u have a nice shop, ill drop by there anyttime..its nearrer and less packed.....well at lowyat im forced to smell smoke and my shirt stinkS!!

make sure they are friendly and professional. dun have to be overflashy .. ain't fashion show .. (though we dun mind )DIY sounds like a good idea. Have consultants there if we buy and assemble there n then? Display units are fine .. dun think having people touching goods here n there is such a good idea. Market here diff than U.S.A. But having specs data sheet out in the open near the display unit would be great for noobies and experts to compare. Ohyah .. congratz guys keep on growing!!! |

hmm, umm, like Senq, they demo all the unit, including printers and some others stuff, i think, it is better to have some demo(displaying) units on MP3 player, PDAs(more profit margin than others hardware), high-end graphics card, full-range speakers? should C-Zone also sell cartridges and toner as well?

Am glad u are opening one in Times Square. LYP is too cramped and most stores are small. What I wish to c C-Zone at Time Sq beside having bigger space -
1. hypermarket style with friendly assistants around to answer enquires, not someone who are tailing you here and there. 2. Pretty girls are not so important as long as they are able to answer queries correctly and advise them not to "look down" on customers who do not dress smartly or people who look like "china-man". These are people who are actually loaded, most of the time. ;-) 3. Prices should be displayed; hate asking how much is that and how much is that. 4. One more thing - do not "cheat" or take advantage of customers who are new or ignorant of devices like what ATOM did when I was a noob, then. Thanks for listening. |

i think the main important aspects in the new store should b that the customers are able to feel n test products.
some ppl tats not so hi-tech aso may feel shy to ask around. best if they can ttest/touch it themselves. many of my friends actually go to sri n all IT just to feel the product, then decide to buy somewhere else where the price is better. |

many things can be on display with the spec. by side where the margin is higher such as LCD, pc cooling and modding stuffs, MP3 players, speakers, where as some thing like memory card, hard disk and RAM, all also quite standard, some corner giving out some pricing is better for those stuff

i hate times square. A big No No No to open outlet at Berjaya Times Square. Bad place to be. Like a ghost plaza to me.
Not convenient. Rental xpensive. Not worth a single dollar to rent at times square. |

Well, eventhough it's a bit of a Ghost plaza, then the favourite is the flatrate parking... per entry basis is good... and the size and number of accesible escalator and lift makes good transporting a heck easier than LYP in some sense...
I believe that C-zone would pioneered PC shops there... and soon, we'll see other bigass Computer shops started to open up there too, so to say, to grab a wedge of the customer's pie... but then, we need symbiosis lerr... there'll be spawning of P8 CD/DVD soon as a computer shop is always nearby em... |

I like it to be open at times square. Since lowyat is often full of people and lots of robbbery cases happen. Times square don't have any IT shops that sell s computer hardware like in lowyat, so I think opening one would be good.
But still the price would be most important for me. If it is more expensive than in lowyat , then I wont mind troubling myself going back there. Cause there aint many IT shops in times square, so if Czone were to open one there, I'd think they should sell a wide rage of computer hardware stuff, therefore people will be able to buy what they want instead of going there and find out that their stuff aint selling at times square Czone. btw, will Czone in lowyat close once the outlet in Times square open? Cause I think in the beginning it will lose a lot of customers since people usually choose lowyat cause they have a wide variety of shops to choose. use escalator damn slow. many ppl, esp girls go shopping (aka buying clothes), we are the ones with pc. they'll look at use, very weird.
lift pack with ppl going to cinema. also cannot use. carry heavy pc stuff like monitor & casing also tired to 9th floor. |

Isn't it nice CZONE come to housing estates? wakakaka... You need special items? tell them the day b4 they come, so that the items will be loaded into the van... Delivery also can... charge RM20 per trip.. frankly..i will pay for that. |

IMHO, with Star/Putra accessibility + monorail or even commuter trains, anywhere you open next to these stations are convenient to majority of KL PC enthusiasts population! Also convenient for your parts to be delivered inter-stores without getting out of station. ie get someone to collect at the gate. This way, your company also saves train fares while delivery is faster and convenient resulting in better customer service.
If space allows, have 1or2 customer's space (small table/chairs) for sales discussions. A complimentary drink for confirmed sales > RM100 would be nice. SA attitude towards prospective customers most important, Pricing is next followed by fast/quick 1on1 warranty-exchange claims as customers don't live nearby. Provide nice C-Zone's bag, not necessary expensive type. Take it as free advertising like Dell's paper-bag. Who knows, maybe soon, you can be as popular as Dell! Way 2 Go... win-win ->both seller/buyer benefits:D |
