last time i asked they even have nebulizer for small animals..not sure the spelling....but it's kinda costly and have to do it frequently compare to oral medication..well i'm not the Dr to say what treatment u should get ,what i'm saying is they have the equipments.
just bring your bunny for check up and see what the Dr say...update us ya

well i do not consider that as a holland lop dearie...u don't simply call any lop ear holland lop-same as u cant call any long coat cats persian cats..but yours is a lop ear rabbit for sure..175??well i wouldn't pay so much for it...my rabbit i paid RM60 leh...which also cause i fell in love with her just got to get it...it's not the money laa...is what u are paying for...

well not many barnds offer good quality hay..some smells not so nice..some colour brownish,and some even too green due to colouring...depends on what brand u bought..oxbow pretty pricy for me so i op for chubby pet garden's summo can deliver to my house if i not free to go buy..hehehe...most of all my rabbit loves it..

ermmm is it 1st time introducing hay to ur bunny..u can give bit alfafa to mix with timothy hay to encourage ur bunny to eat...then later can serve whole timothy and give alfafa as treats only

well i wouldn't say higher price...some pure breed rabbit will fetch high price too coz of the features of the rabbits like some show quality that may be potential winner in competitions..but they will be great home pets too..who wouldn't be proud to have a Handsome/pretty bunny at home..if your talking about local rabbits u can see this case in dogs also(mongrels and pure breed pedigree dogs)..see the price difference

chincilla is considered an exotic pet and is less common in malaysia so it's more expensive..chincilla in overseas is not sold so expensive like here in m'sia.but to import one is pricey..same goes to imported bunnies...imported parents is different case ya not considered as imported rabbit is it's born here

Added on January 26, 2010, 8:14 amhow ever i'm just not satisfied that some people tend to get their rabbits from seller who claim to be pure breeds and pay a high price for the bunny.what i'm saying is don't get con by these seller or else your just encouraging them more..do your own research and make right choices if u are opting for pure breeds.however if one really like the bunny and got his/her love at first sight i don't think anyone has the right to stop him/her from buying the bunny..

i think that rabbit feed is ok..just change the hay to timothy hay..u can give bit of alfafa hay as treats too even though u are using alfafa based pellets

I'm a student myself with pets..yea money is a issue but i want what's best for them...if u are changing pallets don't get fooled by some labeled 'premium pellets' but contains grains with multiple colours which looks more like hamster food ...

this hagen pellets very easy to find...last time i call lapins hahaha...noob ma that time..

last time before this i also feed the commercial pellets..then my rabbit fell sick indigestion problem...u don't know how heart ache i was and the feeling of regret can't be explained..then i change pellets and feed plenty of hay...so far my bunny is in tip top condition after that no problem...so pick wisely..don't make the same mistake i do..

hagen is half the price of the show rabbit feed...u didn't account for the weight of packaging...hehe

Added on January 30, 2010, 12:02 amtoilet training takes some time...they then to pee and poo else where to mark their territory so non neutered rabbits are bit hard to train if u have a few together..i have single rabbit so she's ok..before this other 2 rabbits were with me also she pee and poo else where other then her litter box

Well in general,
different bunnies have different characteristics..just like us humans...some don't like to be picked up..or maybe they don't like the way u carry or hold her...
or either they are not used to human touch...maybe not used to the person...can be u did something that made it afraid so it relates to being touched/carried...

well just like any animals,rabbits need to bond with their owners too..if your rabbits is kicking..u can try putting her on your chest while u are sitting down..the legs are against your tummy or chest while u support her bottom with one hand..with the other hand u stroke her head and scratch behind the ears..hope this technique helps

yup if u let the rabbit roam free they will know which favourite spot to take naps and u can see them binky here and there for no reason..just showing that they are happy..my rabbit is roaming about my apartment..she will go back to her cage herself sometimes for food..but at night i keep her in the cage when i sleep

as for the toilet..u just pick the corner where they normally pee and poo and put a litter box there with a few poo to show what is the use of the litter pan...they will eventually know how to use it

well if you want to avoid unplan breeding then u should NOT put your male and female rabbits together.tot u let them out individually?

My rabbit roam freely most of the time and she is also very fierce and show temper stump on the ground when i scold her...but when she want ppl to sayang she will come manja manja jump on my lap for me to pet and will come to me for treats..so basically it's their own behavior that determine their characters.

bunnies need exercise and u can't put a hamster wheel for a rabbit..i don't think such thing exist also..so best if got a wide space for them to run about..

yup yup u should change the feed gradually to prevent shock

basic rabbit cage not expensive and can be easily found..why don't u just go pets wonderland in mid valley..i bought 1 cage there RM55 for the basic size cage...around 2.5ftx1.5ft...the quality is acceptable..but dun worry rabbit wont chew through metal..hahaha

your rabbit will low sai if u feed too much carbohydrates and little fiber..so feed lot and lots of hay ya...long fur rabbits u have to help them groom a little ...u can try researching on "plucking" it takes away the fur that is shed and stuck between other fur..get a decent comb for your bunny as well
