QUOTE(vincentwee @ Nov 19 2010, 04:15 PM) your bunny is cute but when reach adulthood, wont be cute (i think). have u see their parents before? Don't always say like that la. Whether a rabbit is cute or not is a matter of personal preference. U think HLs are cute, but someone else might not. I think hector is cute, but one of my friends thinks he looks like a rat. Added on November 19, 2010, 7:19 pmQUOTE(PinkieBunny @ Nov 19 2010, 02:33 PM) hi all bunny lovers =D after sneaking on the rabbit corner for quite some time, i finally got my own bunnies! Hei! QUOTE(vincentwee @ Nov 20 2010, 07:47 PM) if u take their side photos at your section "Take Them Out", they really look like rat. Added on November 20, 2010, 7:48 pmthat's cute. Added on November 20, 2010, 9:18 pmmy bunny lips got wound with blood. i put bunny powder/bedak on its lips few times. any other way to heal her wounds (cheap method)? now she with Milo. can she infected virus to him? she got it when eat those raw plants at my backyard.thought she can help me clean it by eating all of it. i stop put her at backyard since this incident. Separate her from milo first, take her to the vet tomorrow, since the cut is still breeding-scared the cut needs stitches. Or worst, just in case it has gotten infected.

QUOTE(vincentwee @ Nov 20 2010, 09:55 PM) hmm..im super miser. wont bring her to visit vet. her wounds got dry up as i can felt it. hard shape form outside of it. just now i separate them after saw your msg. they only together 1 hour ++ . i find it strange as normally Milo will stick 2 her like super glue but not today. dont tell me Milo is clever where he know might get infected if near her today. even CNY is 3 month apart, i'm already headache. normally i leave KL for 1 week. not sure they can survive or not for that long period. with 2 bunny, it's impossible for me to put them at boarding. imagine 1 bunny cost $12,2 bunny $24, total $24x7=$168 any owner can share experience where let bunny at home for 1 week? One week is too long. They need fresh clean water and restocking of food. I don't send hector for boarding, I just get my friend to drop by to feed and play with him. I don't like leaving him with strangers in a strange environment.

QUOTE(HikaruHyori @ Nov 23 2010, 04:01 PM) Okie. Noted. I'll start getting some alfafa hay in his age now. Thank alot. Oh ya, btw... i have a question regarding, at what age we can start bath the bunny? actually most breeders/websites do not recommend bathing rabbits (see links below). it's very traumatic for the rabbit. my lil boy has never had a bath before in his life. what i do is- some pets shops sell rabbit wipes which is basically moist tissue, whenever i feel like the rascal needs a cleaning, i use the wipes to wipe him down. if there is any matted fur, i'll just get the pet groomer to shave it off. rabbits are really really clean animals, they dont smell at all (i should know cos i kiss my lil boy all the time). if you take your rabbit to the groomer, just get him/her to cut your rabbit's nails, brush down the rabbit, shave matted fur and clean his ears. most groomers will try to get you to allow them to give your rabbit a bath (i guess because that more $$$$ for them), be firm and say no. http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/groom.htmlhttp://exoticpets.about.com/cs/rabbits/a/rabbitsrooming.htm Added on November 23, 2010, 4:19 pmQUOTE(vincentwee @ Nov 23 2010, 04:13 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Chinese girls paid to crush small animalshttp://www.dailychilli.com/news/7897-chine...h-small-animalsFrom The Star Today Online reports say women in China are paid to video themselves crushing small animals to satisfy customers' fetishes. According to a reader who wrote in to the Singaporean website STOMP, these women are paid by overseas customers to crush kittens, puppies, rabbits or guinea pigs with high heels on. A netizen said the women get paid around 6,000 yuan (about RM 2800 per shoot). This information has come to light after a video surfaced online of a woman squashing a rabbit to death while laughing and posing for the camera. Chinese blogs have called for a 'human-flesh search' for the woman to uncover her to humiliate him or her. Crush films were banned in the United States of America in September this year. Is that the biggest size tunnel? he loves it! he eats it, climbs on it, pees on it, re-engineers it. plus, since i started buying him hay tunnels, he has been merciful to my furniture it's the best investment ever! QUOTE(vincentwee @ Nov 23 2010, 08:18 PM) Eli, your Hector so cute. you got video him and post it? if yes, can share? nicoty_yne, i notice you change your icon to Shiro. or all this while u been using it? Can, once I figure out how to do that Added on November 23, 2010, 10:12 pmQUOTE(zenix @ Nov 23 2010, 09:52 PM) how come vincent always comes up wif all this gross stuff? i think his post for cooking rabbit was also deleted by mods. wanted to buy this for copter but it seems 'small' for him where u buy? i see everywhere quite expensive  Buy the large size one, the one hector uses is medium size. I usually get it from plc or jjay's. Jjay's will give u a good discount. Can't remember how much I paid. Bought one for hector and one for dusty (guppy's rabbit) but apparently dusty totally ignored the tunnel. Ahyo! It's not so expensive if you think about it. One tunnel will last me 6 months. Comes up to a little more than rm10 a month. This post has been edited by Eli: Nov 23 2010, 10:15 PM

QUOTE(yueyi5730 @ Nov 25 2010, 09:12 AM) No1 keep cage clean No2 Keep floor clean No3 Let rabbit roam in clean places No4 trim the foot hair a little to remove the stain...please this does not mean u should cut the whole length hair until the foot is bare... i gave up keeping my baby's paws clean. notti fella's fav hobby- pee on floor to mark territory, step on pee, hop around all over mommy's apartment, wait patiently for pee to dry and/or for mommy to notice, laugh at mommy when she has to get on her knees and clean rabbit pee stains from the floor. being a bunny's slave is a hard job __________________________________________________ on a separate note, please check out this blog. I have a lot of admiration towards the writer and her efforts in helping stray/abandoned animals. download her e-book, "Pawprints on My Heart", it's free. i cried buckets after reading it Happy reading! http://www.myanimalcare.org/This post has been edited by Eli: Nov 25 2010, 12:39 PM

QUOTE(guppy @ Nov 26 2010, 03:41 PM) My rabbit's paws are grey. Because he loves running into all those dusty corners. He comes out with cobwebs all over his face and whiskers, but you can see from his expression that he's real pleased with himself. I've tried to wipe his paws with a damp cloth, but not really effective. He needs bunny mittens. bunny mittens, so cute! as it is he has trouble balancing on tile floors, if you get him mittens, he will start skiing. hmmm maybe we shld tie sponges to his paws so as he ski, he can mop your floor

QUOTE(guppy @ Nov 27 2010, 12:37 AM) Poop got a bit. But it's not like it's habitual. Pee sometimes just to mark territory. If he really needs to poop and pee... he goes back into his cage and does it on his litter box. Ya dusty's a good boy, not like his godbun hector!
