QUOTE(hye @ Apr 16 2010, 04:09 PM) Bank statement won't show you that. The purpose of the bank statement is to show Seriously, there is no saving in that account..but the credited money is tally with my salary..1. You have some 'healthy savings'. If you deposit RM1K and withdraw RM1k the next week, that is not healthy. Possibly if you have RM8-9K consistently, bank may consider a CL of between RM3-5K. 2. Your salary does goes to the account that you say it goes to. And it shows the amount as what you claim it to be in your payslip. Debts / Inconsistent payment schedule are shown via the CCRIS system. (Maintained by BNM) Bad debts / blacklisted are shown via the CTOS system. (3rd party system provided by a private entity) We talked about this is a couple of threads before - search don't be lazy if you want to know. No debts means no history .... depends on how the bank see it. But they are not that stupid to risk you as 'high' just because you don't have debts. Likely you'll get low CL for starters ... that's all. QUOTE(mochablob @ Apr 16 2010, 05:02 PM) They just are asking for your bank statements to tally with your pay slips. This mean that most likely they will approve you if everything matches. Hope so..Today UOB bank did call my company to verify I'm working there or not..is this mean I got chance to get approve as well? |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ May 2 2010, 07:33 PM) Guys, i am about to buy a new SONY VAIO CW26 series laptop and i have a question about the 0% installment scheme offered by some banks. The computer shop i went to told me that they do not impose any additional charges for payment by credit card. I was also told that if i have credit card from either Maybank, HSBC or Public Bank, i am entitled for the 0% installment scheme. I know Sony Style giving 0% Installment Plan for Maybank, Citibank, HSBC, RHB and Standard Charted..no hidden charges..will be RM333.25.. The laptop i plan to buy is priced at RM3,999 and if divided by 12-month (interest free), it means i'll have to pay RM333.25/month. But how come the SONY magazine and even Best Denki quoted that i'll have to pay RM334/month instead ? If i have to pay RM334/month as advertised in SONY magazine and Best Denki's flyer, the total sum is RM4,008 instead of RM3,999, which is RM9 more. How can that be called 0% interest then ? |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ May 2 2010, 10:01 PM) For certain banks ... yes. Some even managed to get the annual fee waived without using the cards at all in the last one year. This was mentioned in the earlier versions of credit card thread. Maybe rounded up I have no idea ... Yes. SONY STYLE has 0% installment plan with selected banks but as you can see in their quarterly magazine, it stated there that the monthly repayment is RM334 instead of RM333.25. There are also many other computer shops now offer 0% installment plan. By the way guys, one good news is that even all those small computer shops in Kota Kinabalu no longer impose any additional charges for computer purchases using credit card |
