I saw zero Forte to date on the road.. including mine. Wonder if there should be any on the road around here.

Just made my first call to the Naza-Kia's Care line. I would rate it as a 5 out of 5 experiences beside the point that I didn't get the answer to my questions ( not the care line operator fault but rather the information they have with them )

- When asked for my name to check on the system. They could not find my name in the system, not even booking information where I have placed my booking deposit in November. She asked for the Branch I placed ordered and she said will do a follow up with the branch on my booking.

- When asked when will be the 2.0SX available, she is saying in January but she does not know whether is beginning, mid or end of January but she said the Management's information is January.

- When asked if she knows how many units or if it is sufficient to delivers to existing customers that booked the car. She has no figures on hand.

- When I asked if the January is a confirmed information for 2.0SX finally available for customer, she than hesitated and inform that they will only sure in January ( sounded like they still not sure if Jan will be the time )

- I explained to her that I need to know before end of next week if there will be a car in January as I will need cancel the Forte booking to secure another car with the offered price before end of the year.

in overall, the experience on the care line is good... much much better compared to calling StreamyX

For my case.. I will make it hard to get back the Deposit.. since they quoted me "Can be refunded since they have no car yet". I also made them to endorse on the Booking Form "Booking Fees is refundable upon cancellation"... somemore, this dealer asking for RM2k deposit.

I may follows your footstep on cancellation by next week.. but not downgrades and say bye bye to Forte. Or I should go and directly process for my cancellation now.. since it going to take a very long time for refund. My RM1k deposit with Tan Chong is yet to be refunded after 1.5 months i canceled my Selphy booking.

What does that meant ? Delivery will be Nov 26th 2009 + 90 days ?.. i.e. end of February ?.. it is funny.. we called the Careline like in less then 30mins apart but already got different information. They told me will be available for customer in Jan..

Am I being too paranoid.. seems all the new owners having NO problem with the noisy cabin sound or I have too high expectation for the Forte. Maybe it is time to test for the 3rd round to confirm... the Clock is tickings

Aha... this is the first time someone understand what I am talking about.. Yup.. the Empty barrel rolling sound.. picking up by the 17" wheels and sort of "amplified into the back seating area... a bit nuisance and fatigue hearing it even just of the short test drive

I am driving a year 99 Iswara which is noisy also but some how the one in Forte made me feeling fatigue and its only happen at certain speeds with certain road surface.

just came back from Peugeot showroom.. the 308 THP with also 17" wheels.. even lower profile does not has that kind of noisy road noise travel into the interior.

Booked my 2.0SX on Nov 26th 2009... Loan Approved for RM80k @ 1.56% @ 5 years.. tick tock.. .tick tock... gonna cancel the booking by end of this month and moves on... very in pain have to make a tough decision to give up on this car... as the next car not cheap and also have to deal with 3% loan

he he.. I purposely put to kacau one.. this is employee's benefit from company.. a good interest rate. But if i get other car.. I cannot get the same loan amount as max out already.. and have to take standard loan rate outside.

This also meant. .you guys didn't read the V1 posts... it has already been mentioned once.

yesterday, i had a flat tire on my current car. when fixing it, i told the mechanic that just repairs it and I don't want to change tire ( my tires are 3 years + old .. actually should change already ) as i want to change car already.

The uncle asked me what car I am changing to.. and I told him Korean car.. immediately, the uncle face changed and started to educated me never buy a Korean car.. I will regret this regret that.. all the "usual bad things about Korean cars" came out..

I tried to convince him this is a new car.. new technology.. new era but then i gave up educating him.. and remain silence.

Hopes in near future.. Mechanics will change perception about Korean cars.. and in returns recommending their customers to get a Korean car when someone asking them for suggestions. We put high hope on this Forte.. and hopes it does not let us down. Some time still worry that I put the wrong bet.

Was dropping by at another Showroom.. There is a white EX sitting in the showroom.. checking out the car and hopping can have the 3rd test drive so that can helps me to decide if to keep waiting or cancel booking.

The SA said all 2.0 still at Langkawi.. new car only available after CNY.. .. we have so many version of stories.

Congratulation on the good news.. I am wondering.. with each of this "new car is avaiable" for delivery.. are they from the first batch's left overs or there are all new out of the oven car from car production or ports ?

I thought all SA said only 1.6EX is not fully sold where 1.6SX are gone.

Just wrote my cancellation letter... yet to sign and pass it to the SA... Its really tough to proceed with that decision..

When I called the care line on Thursday, my record is not found on their system which I am not feeling comfortable, when I asked her is my name suppose to be in the system after I paid the deposit, she said maybe because I have not got an allocation.. so, they cannot find my information.

Will call again on Monday to confirm.
