Did you say web-browsing speed is 'surprising'?

Honestly, I'm searching for the right pull factor to move from winmo to android. I have been using Touch HD for sometime. Web browsing with opera, with 6 tabs (each pre-loaded with some pictures), scrolling, zooming, text reflow, it's time-consuming and frustrating. I browse the internet a lot, on the go, usually via 3G (Maxis).

Touch HD2 reviews on internet browsing looks very promising. Just how good Nexus one? Will it be so blazing fast and smooth that overrule my sense and drop winmo to N1? Haha.... Com'on shahz

web browsing speed is determined by a lot of factors such as the scripting on the page (mobile, non mobile), the service provider, the processor (negligible if you are not multitasking), and etc etc.

Android seems to be really fast in getting thing programs to startup (because of the 1Ghz), great OS, and has a great LED touch screen. Other than that, well, kinda almost the same as the iphone

From all the reviews i've read on the net, there are a lot of people that are happy with the phone EXCEPT one thing, that is support. Google kinda expects you to debug the phone yourself lol.

Xtral, I do mean pre-loaded (cached) website. I like to load several webpages, disconnect, minimize the browser, and read it later. It happens a lot when I'm on the move, like waiting for LRT, waiting for people, waiting for food, etc. I don't have to quit any web browser when I need to reply a sms, email, receive calls, checking calender, making notes, etc.

This way, (by not connecting to 3G all the time) I can save a lot of battery life. Iphone cannot minimize (?), because it need to quit it's web-browsing whenever the user try to do other stuff. (right? I'm not sure actually, only use my friend iphone several times only).

About support, it is only require when the phone is having a lot of problems. Problems, well, that are something which we are about to find out from shahz!

Passed all three nexus 1 to customers today. But I'm not sure they will even put some a small review in here. Tomorrow bahathir's unit is coming. Maybe he can do some review in accompaniment of shah's.

u cannot ask them to giv review here..shahz should be the one who is qualify to giv review since he paid RM2700(which is the most expensive+ he travelling to shah alam)

Steven, thats not right actually..They can post their reviews too..In fact, I personally want everyone who gets their sets to post as well if possible..Then we have "bulk data" to compare..

syyang85 if you referred that to me, that was really unethical to say that..I already planned to get my N1 the first day it was even announced..I could just take it and go away but its the people here who asked me to write a review..I don't seek any attention personally and trust me, writing a review itself is not something that I'm a big fan of..I'm doing this just for the people who are serious in getting the phone so they don't make a wrong decision..What makes you think I will put my expensive gadget just for a little attention that doesnt even pay for my phone? Think wisely mate..
