BTW: The 'spotty 3G' problems do make me worry a bit. I also use 3G connection in many occasions, so, I hope my N1 will perform better in Malaysia.'

After reading this wikipedia entry about AWS, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Wireless_Services ;
If we have good 3G connectivity in Malaysia, it means that, the real problem is the T-Mobile's AWS implementation in their network.

So it is not "Spotty 3G" at all, It should be changed to "Spotty AWS".

Guys..I don't care about anything else..I am typing this post from my n1 running on Maxis 3g..swear to God, whoever said 3g on n1 is slow is definitely a retard! I have never experienced 3g this fast! U wanna see? I'll make a video..rest of it will be reviewed tonight..I came specially to prove 3g perfection!

hmm...was thinking of gettin the nexus one also..

but i am new to andriod, surely will under-perform the phone if i bought it. sumore open source, dunno bout modding and optimizing the android speed.

Shahz, what is the standard apps inside N1? Google Maps Nav, is it good? Since you are in KL, the maps should have lots of details compare to the kampung area. Better than Papago?
