shahz,
VTT not that smooth? from vid clips i've seen on other sites, they are pretty accurate. Maybe you have to talk like a Mat Salleh (US style) since ur unit is from US? heh..
If we order from HK or SG, we can talk like a chinaman haha.
Anyway, VTT is a server side app. From what i heard, it will improve over time learning from you. Don't know how true it is. I didn't like it being on server side because you'll have to be connected to get VTT working. Also that means more data packet going across. I wonder if the next gen iPhone may have local VTT, built into phone rather than server side.

One of my customer said her nexus one died while setting up and now cannot on. Any one here has that problem?

^^ TQ... If you want, you can be my witness, while unboxing it. Ooo.. .DOA (Died on Arrival) ... I think the N1 need to charged up first before start using it... How about, charge it and leave it a while.

I got Some questions can N1 view facebook video?? Seems like iPhone can't view the video, and does it support push mail and it's application like iPhone? Do they support Microsoft office document ? The most important does it smooth like iPhone when we are sliding our photo, games??

oreo, yeah, the VTT needs a lot of practise..it will slowly understand you..but as far as I am guessing, it uses network to analyze the voice..That means, by the time my Nexus One recognizes me, I will already have spent a lot for its "lesson classes"..haha

Shahz, it would definately understood your "f**k", "dammit" and "sh*t" much faster than any other words from you if you've been spewing frustration at VTT often.  I wonder how much of data transmission would VTT take up. Any gauge of data packet transmitted over each app/function? (sorry, i am an andriod noob, been using iP*ahem*ne) Want to get prepared for eventual need for data plan upgrade if required. Being a google device, i am sure they will release more app that is thin client on this device and everything else is in server side *sigh*. |
