hey guy, if i wan to install MyKeylock v1.12 for Nokia 5800, does it void my warranty? because there is note saying that MUST BE SIGNED BEFORE INSTALLING. why we need to sign? BTW how to install UNO game? it is in zip file, so i direct copy all files in zip to memory card?

UNO is not zip file .. look carefully, goto Windows Explorer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> enable to show file extension

UNO is UNO.jar and WinRAR will treat it as compressed file, of course Java is compressed platform and u just copy the UNO.jar to ure SD card and directly install, no need uncompress ..

Added on December 30, 2009, 3:10 pmMost 3rd party apps are protected by the authors which needs u to sign their applications before installation. Software installation does not void warranty unless in few circumstances, check my previous posts for the explanation.

Most famous vendors like OVI store apps comes with self-signed, which means u dont have to sign since they already made such agreements with Nokia to release the application either FREEWARE, DONATION based or some cost involvement before u proceed to download.

hey will it spoil our tube if we soft/hard reset it a lot of times? lol, just a random question.

Im on the 13th hard reset now .. .. u still hv long way to go, don worry, .. it'll be 2012 wen u reach the 10th ..

i just did my 4th hard reset. lol.

and also countless times of soft reset.

any prob for my 5800? why it wil change itself memory? i mean my hp wil sudd change to phone memory then later change to memory card...soooo confuse then i cant read memory card...ned go to app.!

yeah, the 5800xm (not sure about others smartphone lah cause i dont have them) sure easily require a hard reset if:

1. you install some modify theme which require manual file patching.
2. you connect your phone as mass storage and #$@%^%#%% happen.
3. you remove your mem card not properly.
4. you hack your phone and install @#$%^&^%& within.

so, if u don't wanna hard reset your phone then just keep do below:

1. don't connect the usb shit.
2. don't remove the memory without power off the hp first.
3. don't put !@#$%%^^** into your phone at once (it will search every single dam files within to get it regconice).
4. don't hack your phone.
5. only install proper signed applications.

wht's the diff between soft and hard reset?

Soft, pressing softer .. while harder, pressing harder

the bolded ones are not that practical. Dont connect usb = no music/videos/games = no fun on tube! Unless u use card reader lo~
hacking your phone won't cause any problem if you know how to do it properly... Hacked for a few months and my tube still so good.

you mean : SymSMB - Transfer Files via WiFi Phone <-> PC??

I've try the SymSMB before but no luck on setting it up

Soft Reset
- Reverts system files to original a.ka factory settings.
- Any changes made to system files will be override.
- Any applications related to system file configurations will fail to work.
- Most standalone applications will work without any problems.
- Memory card data still intact.

Hard Reset
- Full format (brings ure fone as fresh as first time bought.
- Resets system information, such as time / date / location /user data etc.
- All user data and system data will be wiped off completely, including System, Contacts, Messages, Settings etc.
- Memory card data still intact.
