i didin't cover very much recycle paper bedding just a thin layer until i cover the plastic bottom but still very fast finish. my gp like to pee and poo inside his dome. always like to hide inside the dome. outside the dome clean. This weekend i have to go pet shop to look for a toilet corner for my gp.

sure lor.. with toilet corner u jus use 1 palm full.. with ur current situation u use a few palm full.. u now must rajin rajin pick up those poo and pun at 1 corner 1.. "tell him in a way to poo here"

Just to share my latest pictures of the babies I bred last month. Apparently the babies Shebby I bred, 2 looks more like Peruvian, and 1 more like Sheltie. Here are the pictures can see the difference in terms of their fur comparing with Peruvian and Abby. Can also see from the pictures below that baby Peruvian fur is more fluffy than Abby baby. Peruvian baby fur will grow even longer as it grow older, this picture is taken when the Peruvian baby is 5 weeks old.

Juztiny the babies are very very pretty~! i like the white one, look spiky um the shebby looks like American, are purebreed sheltie babies looks like that oso? then when will their fur grow longer and show their sheltie characteristics? will there be a possibility when crossbreed like abby + peruv produce american abby? so far, my crossbreeds (abby + perubby / abby + american) never produce american babies, so just wondering...

i have travel with my gps many time, as far as bukit fraser and port dickson, so far i found them ok and not stressed, as long as you put them in comfortable container (i use medium size toyogo box as their carriage and temp cage when i bring them to vacation) and you suppy them enough food and water. i line the toyogo box with fleece, put dome for them to hide inside and i put the carrier next to me while travelling with half-closed lid. i brought 2 pregnant gps to bukit fraser last year and they are fine too..XD at first i want to left them home but i'm so scared anything happen or they will deliver babies without my aid so i drag tham along lor...

Well..normally pure sheltie baby will look like a American breed from week 1 to week 3. From week 4 onwards the fur will start growing more longer and look different from American. So I am confident that this Sheltie looking Shebby may look like pure Sheltie as it's fur is start showing sign that fluffy looking and longer. It is stepping into 4 weeks old this week. I am also eager to see by next week how it will look like. Initially I thought of keeping it myself, as I recently sold off 2 pairs of my adult GPs (1 Peruvian, 1 Sheltie and 2 Abbys) away, so got room to keep. Now I was offered a job in Australia, so in 3 months time I may need to sell off all of my pets and start planning of migration.

i am also currently using a conventional cage, which is a plastic base. I used newspaper to cover whole base, toilet floor mat covering 3/4 of it, n de rest i used back to nature bedding where they will pee n poo. tat way i change it every 2 days n wash it once a week. work for me

the one that i hev is a shebby.. at first, it looks like an american.. but after a few weeks, the fur gets longer and now juz like a normal pure breed sheltie..
from what i know, if A breeds with B the result will either A or B only.. maybe for some cases A will have some traits of B (or the other way around) but usually not major la..

Peruvian babies all sold. May be when I decided to migrate then will sell off my adult Peruvians.

In regards to breeding experience, I have 2 times incident that an abby with a sheltie, comes out american breed alike baby (which is Xiaomen), same goes with abby and abby too, also have once like this. Very strange...most likely that abby has strong traits of american breed in it.

i see...thanks juztiny and rumizu for your answers...oh so there is possiblity tht crossbreed abby+sheltie can produce american...i should take a not on tht ...i once read also tht 2 similar type gp (i forgot which line but surely not american)if breed will only produce american babies...its maybe the their mix genes resulting the babies become american...quite interesting...

ne rumizu-san, did u check your PM? can i know if we can meet in KL/Selangor instead of ur place in malacca? coz i nv been there on my own...dunno how to drive there...

erm.. aint those for horses...

At first i thought like u. must be horses. but i dun think anyone got a pet horse so i check with the seller. They sell 2kg or 13.5kg bedding. If for a horse where got enough bedding for them. i check with them they said use for small animals that included GP.

nobody use this before? Seem cheap like 13.5kg for RM48.00
