QUOTE(Abie.C @ Jan 6 2010, 12:23 PM) no i never feed any fruits to my gp before. only yesterday night i give my gp 2 slice carrots. What is why i am a bit worry cos i dun see my gp drinks. he only eats a lot of hays only. pallets also less. should i give my gp water by using bowls but it will be troublesome later. can i try to put his head near to the bottle to make him suck the water. but i'm afraid i will hurt my gp. u just get ur GP not long ago right? dun worry, dun rush ur pig. when i first got mine she was so scare that hide in her dome for 3 days straight. she seldom come out n her fur turned yellow caused by her pee. she also seldom eat n drink. but after 1 week everything went to normal. try be with ur GP n hand feed them more often so tat they will recognize ur smell. imagine u being transfered to some where n not knowing whether the person is good or bad, how do u feel? scared rite? for potty training, u will have to wait. let him be comfortable wit u 1st

QUOTE(kaoru himura @ Jan 11 2010, 08:16 PM) nyaaaa kawai~!!!! ne which one is the sheltie you booked for me? the gender? and the price can you PM me? nyaaa so cute...~! hermozo >> once a week is too much I'm afraid, coz their skin is sensitive, will get too dry and irritated...so its advisable to bath gp only once a month. once a week you can sapu on them some baby talcum powder (normal one not medicated), just spread the talcum on ur hand and sapu over thier fur. it will leave ur gp's fur very smooth, soft n smells good~! my gp love their weekly grooming session, after i comb and sapu the talcum they popcon happily ok, arigatou! now i know wat to do for their grooming! thanks for de advise guys!

QUOTE(Abie.C @ Jan 12 2010, 01:43 PM) oh. i know what type you are saying but too bad my cage is not a rabbit cage and does not have any steel below the bottom. mine is just flat plastics. Anyway i can diy it my cage or any other solution. i am also currently using a conventional cage, which is a plastic base. I used newspaper to cover whole base, toilet floor mat covering 3/4 of it, n de rest i used back to nature bedding where they will pee n poo. tat way i change it every 2 days n wash it once a week. work for me
