Good morning everyone. Wan to let my friends here know that one of my Female Agouti that has been pregnant almost 1 month plus just died yesterday because of "keguguran"... really really sad to see this. The day before she was so active and wheeking at me. The second day morning saw 3 underage litters (dead) come out from her and she looks very very pale. Brought her to the vet straight away but still couldn't save her. really really sad

QUOTE(chamyk2311 @ May 17 2010, 11:28 AM) Ideal and safe age to be pregnant is about 6-7 months of age. So far I never experienced breeding my GPs below 6 months of age.I know some other people do breed at 4 months old of age and successful. But I would not want to risk my piggies. I thought pregnancy only danger when it's less than 3 months old. Will take note to it next time. Added on May 17, 2010, 2:57 pmBack to my male gp. I brought him to the vet and had his teeth trimmed. He still eating quite slow. What i did so far now is i blended the pallets into powder form so easier for him to eat. Wat fruits and vege should i give them? Yesterday night i gave him abit apple (chopped into very small cubes), he love it very much but he eat very slow... and i also dont wan to give him apple too much cuz scare not good for his teeth. Now my home got lettuce and small tomatoes and some pears and apples. i got tried blend the lettuce and tomatoes but he don't like it, maybe because it's blended so he don't wan. When i give him not blended lettuce, he wan to eat it, but watch him lick the vege for a few mins also din see him get a bite. I still got the left over critical care last time i bought. can i take the critical care mix with the blended fruits and use syringe and force feed him? anymore vege that you guys can recommend me? I saw in google, the sais can use banana. can i give him banana too? This post has been edited by chamyk2311: May 17 2010, 02:57 PM |

Is it possible he still in pain? I don't think he got trauma because the doc got "pengsan" him awhile while the doc trim his teeth. |
