QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Oct 15 2009, 10:51 PM) I see that Citibank MY has adopted a new design for its homepage. Maybe they are trying to iron out some issues and it is temporary ? Else you can lodge a complain. colorless logo on e-statement only, im ok with it. haha... While the new homepage is nice, it is still lacking many useful informations. They should make a PDF file for its "fee & charges" part, just like HSBC and Standard Chartered. Still a LOOOONG way to go for Citibank MY [attachmentid=1253144] FYI, OCBC e-banking also changed their layout. dun have much free time to explore it... anyways, change is good! hopefully change will give better 1 not the worse... |

QUOTE(winner @ Oct 16 2009, 09:47 AM) I notice that e-statement of Citibank in pdf format has got a lower resolution since last month. I actually prefer this way. However, next month's statement will be the last e-statement I receive from Citibank (at least for the time being) as I have just terminated my Citi Plat cc for the purpose of consolidating my existing CCs. is it? last month no transaction so no statement. now only notice it. haha |

QUOTE(hye @ Oct 19 2009, 09:49 PM) It is co-branded card - normally it is harder to obtain AF waiver for co-branded card unless the AF waiver is part of their marketing strategy. CIMB Petronas card falls under this AF waiver category but the Enrich card is not. i understand that Enrich is for MAS only. how about using Enrich CC pay other airlines flights? does it entitled the mileages point? another Q is, did ur got apply frequent flyer membership even ur have enrich? |

QUOTE(Faidzal @ Oct 22 2009, 07:05 PM) My wife applied for CC at Treatsfair back in July. oh, tht shit le... Til now, she has yet to receive her card. Is this normal? I bugged her to call the helpline, everytime they say the card is in process, I got fed up already, but my wife still waiting patiently. If it was me, I'd cancel already..... what u can do is ask ur wife call customer service, and find out where is the card located. by defaults, they will send to your house and by automatic dun know why, the post malaysia will just send back to MBB saying no 1 come collect, and now ur wife card shd be sit at HQ. |

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Oct 23 2009, 06:24 PM) I certainly ain't happy with the new rule implemented; and I doubt a lot of people here are going to be upset too. I feel the bank shouldn't be imposing on the consumers; instead of they want to charge they should start charging the banks; it is after all them who benefits the most from us [provided the card is used and not kept for keepsakes] im same opinion with you although im din have to pay RM800 AF. Also, if I'm oredi paying RM800 AF for a CC, Y should I pay an extra RM50? Just so our national education institutions can go buy RM40k+ outdated computer? I'm not going to do anything; will just sit and wait for the bank to send me letters and then I'll decide. Looks like I'm gonna give up on several cards. Maybe banks will decide to pay for those who actually uses the card? now i have excuses to reject the CC sales person," Eh ur card got charge RM50" i dun like it" haha QUOTE(zenquix @ Oct 23 2009, 07:19 PM) Still no news whether this applies to charge cards and debit cards. I am gonna need to cut a number of cards since I have very few active cards at the moment. those with 0% installment plan will get stuck! want cancel also can not cancel, perhaps, u can opt for early settlement. its up to bank decision.Anyone know whether we can settle 0% installment payments on a card and cancel it or we need to continue holding it? |

@simplesmile, The CS might not be pretending; the budget speech was just announced hours ago; do U think the banks oredi had time to brief their staff? yaya. im agreed with you. The bank will see which bank to be the 1st bank to act on this matter. |

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Oct 23 2009, 07:32 PM) @hye, we love to hear on ur RM50 waiver tricks... Hmm... so this has been introduced before? And what happened to it then? Banks started introducing Annual Fees and they'll use these fees to offset the Service Charges? I guess if I could get Amex to give me a waiver for RM800, I should be able to convince them to give me another RM50 waiver right?! PS: I'm not old enough to know the history so be great if u can shed a light. QUOTE(simplesmile @ Oct 23 2009, 07:33 PM) The CS could have just acknowledged the issue and tell me the Bank/Management/Boss will update them when ready. Instead of pretending not knowing the issue at all. This reflects on the professionalism on how the bank handles its customers. but, not every bank CS are able to pick this up. |

every1 is talking about cutting down their CC.
this is a very good alarm to bank and we can expect the CC industry is going to be very competitive soon. we consumer will gain at the end. |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Oct 25 2009, 07:41 PM) Exactly agreed. Even UK also the same. If i'm not mistaken, the one you saw them entering PIN number instead of signing a slip in the EU such as Germany and Switzerland are not credit card. Instead they are paying using debit card. Unlike USA and here in Asia, debit card is actually more popular in Europe. The cards they use are mostly Maestro and Maestro belongs to Mastercard. |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Oct 27 2009, 08:26 AM) Credit card service tax may be absorbed yeah. im just read it. Banks likely to come up with a scheme for users PETALING JAYA: Banks are likely to absorb the RM50 service tax on credit cards, considering that they already provide cardholders with rebates worth more than this.
