no 7...... this is not a really good number. For those who wear this number before, all cannot perform. I list them down.

Winston Bogarde (signed and only played few matched)
Didier Deschamp (A regular, but not playing at his best)
Adrian Mutu (ended up sacked by chelsea)
Andriy Shevchenko (everybody know him as best player for AC Milan, but not in Chelsea)

If i'm not mistaken, Maniche also wore no. 7 when he plays for us..& he only lasts for half of the season.

Sooner or later someone has to take the #7. Just because the recent players who wore that number did not perform, it doesn't mean we should ban this number once and for all. Do not let the superstitious thinking to dictate our lives.
