FED print more money. They are just like photocopy machine that generating more paper cash.
But it will depreciate dollars value if they doesn't bring down the budget deficit.
No other countries will buy dollar anymore. It no longer safe currency.

biggrin.gif Just last week, during the pending falling into the trap door, the USD worth like gold..

Again, we've been here before. Many says USD long term is worthless, toilet paper, etc but in times of
turmoil and uncertainty, every one and their uncles/aunties turn to USD. tongue.gif

PS. I'm holding more USD than MYR.
Give me this USD toilet paper anytime! Soon I have enough to wipe my butt with it. laugh.gif

It won't be valueless.

If you are a exporter, payment generally or majority will be done in USD.

Second largest economy now is China, but just about 30% of US economy.

Any turmoil and market fear, all flock to USD as safe heaven.

Majority of commodities trade in USD, be it oil, gold, copper and many many more, it just mean those delivery is settled with USD. So you need USD.

As long as US is the sole superpower, biggest economy, it won't be valueless. Depreciate in value, yes, but won't be valueless.

Pre-Market looks convincing.

RBS, UNG and ING looking great. I now switch from LVS/MGM to these counters.

10,200 is looking gud for now, but just too early to tell as PENDING HOME SALE data is at 11pm.

The famous saying goes by "BUY ON DIPS" still apply.

Hi all,

Mind to advise which local brokerage firm / investment bank can trade US stock? I remember some of you have mentioned CIMB, HLB, OSK, or what again? Which has lowest fee with best trading convenience?

Since I don't trade often, I might want to transfer back all money and keep at local here.

Reason being I have difficulty to prove my money when applying housing loan, bank doesn't accept my etrade & optionsxpress account statement. sad.gif
